In the World Ranking 2022 released by the International Hockey Federation, the Indian men's hockey team got the fourth place while the Indian women's hockey team got the sixth place.

  • Men's team ranking

  • In the men's section, the team of Australia (2842.258) topped.

  • The team of Belgium (2764.735) got the second position and Netherlands (2465.707) got the third position by defeating India (2366.990).

  • Germany (2308.156) ranked fifth in this ranking.

  • England (2171.354) and Argentina (2147.179) finished sixth and seventh respectively.

  • Women's team ranking

  • In the women's section, the team of Netherlands (3049.495) topped while the team of Argentina (26744.837) got the second position.

  • The Indian team (2029.396) replaced Spain (2016.149) at the sixth position, which slipped to the seventh position.
