Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board conducts various examinations every year to recruit numerous posts such as Technical Assistant, Laboratory Attendant, Draftsman, Pharmacist etc. DSSSB has invited 13 vacancies for the post of Junior Stenographer (English) in the department of Delhi State Industrial and  Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd..The official notification for the post of Junior Stenographer (English) for 2022 is not released yet. So, we are providing you with the details of year 2021 for the same.

DSSSB JUNIOR STENOGRAPHER APPLICATION

How To Apply

Candidates can apply online on the official website of DSSSB, there is no another option to fill out this application form. If you are facing any trouble then you can follow the below-mentioned steps:

1. Firstly candidates have to visit the official website of the DSSSB.

2. Now, fill in your required details carefully.

3. After filling out details you have to upload your legal documents which should be self-attested.

4. Before submission, one should need to review their application form again and submit the application fee to complete the process.

Application Fee

Candidates have to pay 100/- as the application fee. Some categories such as Women, ST, SC, P.W.D. and Ex-servicemen are exempted from paying application fees.

ADMIT CARD OR HALL TICKET:

Your admit card will be updated on the authorities' official website 10 or 15 days before the examination. Here are some steps to take in order to download it:

  • Visit the official website, Click Here

  • Now, select the exam admit card link.

  • Enter your registration information, such as your registration ID and password,

  • Now your admit card is displayed on the screen.

  • Download your admit card and print it for future references.

(Note: Your admit card or hall ticket is the most important document for your examination because it contains all of the necessary information such as your name, date of birth, photo, registration details, name of your center, date of your examination, and reporting time.)

(a) To apply for this post, the candidate must be a citizen of India.

(b) Age 

Candidates must be between 18 to 27 yrs. of age.

Junior Stenographer (English)

Candidates must have cleared 12th examination from any recognized Board or Institute with English as a subject.

Candidates must maintain 80 w.p.m in English 10 Mts. (English)

Candidates must maintain 50 Mts in Transcription on Computer.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University / Institute. 

DSSSB JUNIOR STENOGRAPHER EXAM PATTERN

One-Tier General Examination:

  • The exam will comprise 200 multiple-choice questions and each question will carry 1 mark.

  • The duration of this exam will be 120 minutes, i.e. 2 hours.

  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

  • There will be no negative grading for the unattempted questions.

Skill Test:

The DSSSB organizes the skill exam to assess candidates' typing speed in a certain language. Candidates who clear the written examination will be chosen for the skill test, which is the second stage of the selection process.

  • The minimal requirement for Stenographer (English) is 100/40 words per minute.

  • The minimal requirement for Stenographer (Hindi) is 80/30 words per minute.

The questions will be asked from history, geography, general science, economics, and scientific research and current events

General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability

This section will include questions based on verbal and nonverbal reasoning. This section will test a candidate’s problem-solving skills, visual memory, observation power, understanding of relationships, arithmetical reasoning, etc.

Arithmetical & Numerical Ability

SThe questions will be based on simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Percentage, Profit and Loss, Discount, Time, Work, and Distance, etc.

Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension

The questions will be based on Hindi Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms and their correct usage

Test of English Language & Comprehension

The questions in this section will be related to English Vocabulary, Grammar, Synonyms, Antonyms and their correct usage.
