HOW TO APPLY

Only online applications will be accepted from 27.08.2022, 10:00 IST, until 26.09.2022, 16:00 IST. No other forms of application will be considered.

A. REGISTRATION OF APPLICATIONS

1. Candidates must go the FCI website at https://fci.gov.in/ and select "APPLY ONLINE," which will open a new window.

2. Select the "Click here for New Registration" tab to register an application, then enter your name, phone number, and email address. The system will generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password, which will then be shown on the screen. An email and SMS containing the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be provided. (Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password.)

3. In the event that the applicant is unable to complete the application in single attempt, he or she may keep the data submitted thus far by selecting the "SAVE AND NEXT" tab. Candidates are urged to use the "SAVE AND NEXT" feature to check the details in the online application form before submitting it, and to modify them if necessary. Candidates who are visually impaired should carefully complete the application form or have the details checked to make sure they are accurate before submitting it.

4. Candidates are recommended to carefully complete and double-check the information they enter into the online application since after they click the COMPLETE REGISTRATION BUTTON, no changes will be permitted or accepted. 

5. The candidate's name, or the name of his or her father, husband, or another family member, should be spelt exactly as it appears on all certificates, mark sheets, and identity documents. Any improvement or change could cause the candidate to be disqualified.

6. By selecting the "Validate your details" and "Save & Next" buttons, you can verify your application information and save it.

7. Candidates can continue by scanning and uploading their photos and signature in accordance with the guidelines listed in point "C" of the guidelines for scanning and uploading photos and signatures.

8. Candidates can continue filling out the application form's other details.

9. Before completing registration, examine and double-check the complete application form by selecting the Preview tab.

11. Click on the 'Payment' Tab and proceed with payment. 

12. Click on the 'Submit' button. 

B. PAYMENT OF FEE

The payment can be done through Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets, and the application form is integrated with the payment gateway.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Nationality

A candidate for appointment in the service of the Corporation shall be:

 i. a Citizen of India, or

ii. a subject of Nepal, or

iii. a subject of Bhutan, or

iv. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1

st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or v. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries  of Kenya, Uganda and United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar),

 Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

B. DOCUMENT VERIFICATION & INTERVIEW

Candidates for the postcodes A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H who were shortlisted in the online test will then be invited for an interview with FCI at a post-to-candidate ratio of 1:3. At the time of the interview, the document verification will be completed.

C. TRAINING 

The recruitment process includes training as a Management Trainee, which is given a 10% weighting. Candidates who are chosen to be management trainees (general, depot, movement, accounts, technical, civil engineering, electrical mechanical engineering), will go through a six-month training course.

SALARY

Individuals will only receive a monthly aggregated stipend of Rs. 40,000 (forty thousand rupees only). Throughout the training phase, Management Trainees will be considered for absorption as Managers in the IDA Pay scale of Rs. 40000 – 140000 upon successful completion of a training period of six months. However, there will be no training in the case of Managers (Hindi) and they will be directly appointed as Managers in the IDA Pay scale of Rs. 40000 – 140000.
