ASSAM POLICE SUB INSPECTOR RECRUITMENT -2021

ASSAM POLICE SUB INSPECTOR OVERVIEW:

State Level Police Recruitment Board Assam has released the notification for filling up of 320 vacancies of Sub-Inspector of Police (AB) for Assam Commando Battalions. Applications must be submitted online through the SLPRB official Click Here. The online application  will be submitted between the date 22nd December 2021 to 21st January 2022.

Some important dates regarding the examination are as follows:-

ASSAM POLICE SUB INSPECTOR APPLICATION:

The 'Online Application Form' can be filled by the applicant in the following steps:-

1. Visit the official website of the Corporation Click Here

2. Click the “Recruitment” section

3. Now, Select the post which you want to apply for the examination.

4. Register yourself with your valid Email Id and Contact number Your login details will be sent to your Email Id.

5. Now, login with your Email Id and Password and fill your required details carefully and click to proceed.

6.Upload your required documents in the required format and size.

7. Download your application form after the final submission and take a print out of it.

  Note:- THERE WILL BE NO APPLICATION FEE.

ADMIT CARD OR HALL TICKET:-

Before the examination, your Admit Card will be updated on the official website of the Assam Police.

 Some steps are given below which will  help you download your Admit Card

      1. Visit the official website Click Here 

      2. Now, click on the exam admit card

    3. Now, enter your registration details such as your registration ID or password.

     4. Your admit card appears on the screen.

     5. Now, download your Admit Card and take the printout of the same for the further process.

(Note: Admit card or Hall ticket is the most important document for your examination in which all required details such as your Name, Date of Birth, Photo, Registration Details, Centre’s, Examination Date  and Reporting Time of your examination are also mentioned.)

ASSAM POLICE SUB INSPECTOR ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

The Eligibility criteria are decided by the board and candidates must meet them to become eligible for the post. The details are as follows:-

AGE LIMIT

As on 1st January 2021, both Male and Female candidates should be of ages between 20- 24 years.

Relaxations in the upper age limit shall be provided to SC/ST and Other categories candidates as per the Recruitment Rules.

 EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College/ Institution affiliated to a recognized University.

 NATIONALITY

Candidates must be an Indian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Assam.

The candidates must register his/her name with a local Employment Exchange of Assam.

ASSAM POLICE SUB INSPECTOR EXAM PATTERN:

Examination pattern are given below:-

ASSAM POLICE SUB INSPECTOR SYLLABUS:

SUBJECTS

• Logical Reasoning, Aptitude, Comprehension

• Matters relating to History and Culture of Assam and India

• General Knowledge

PHYSICAL STANDARD TEST 

Note :-Male Candidates should have a minimum of 5 cm of chest expansion.

PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST :-

Candidates who clear the Physical Standard Test (PST) will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates have to cover a certain distance in a specific Time Period, details of which are mentioned below:-

PSYCHOMETRIC TEST:-

All candidates who clear PST/PET will have to appear in a Psychometric Test.  Psychometric tests will be conducted under the guidance of a prominent military / CAPF figure.

• Adaptability of Jungle/ Hilly Terrain/ Ecology. 

• Aptitude/ Attitude measurement.

ASSAM POLICE SUB INSPECTOR SELECTION:

The recruitment process has four phases.

Candidates who want to get recruited need to undergo these four phases:-

1. Written Exam

2. Physical Measurement/Efficiency Test

3. Medical Test

4. Psychometric Test

ASSAM POLICE SUB INSPECTOR POST:

Category wise vacancies for Sub-Inspector mentioned below:-

NOTE :-

• There will be a reservation for OBC/MOBC – 27%, SC- 7%, ST (P)- 10% and ST(H) -5%.

•  10% reservation for persons belonging to EWS who are not covered under the scheme of reservation for SCs, STs and OBCs.

• There will be  5% reservation for sports persons from the total vacancies mentioned above.
