A premier Indian Public Limited Company in Professional Electronics, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) had released the recruitment notification for the posts of Project Engineer, Trainee Engineer and Trainee Officer. A total of 247 vacancies have been filled in the BEL Recruitment 2022. The last date to apply for the same was 4th February 2022.

Highlights:

BEL APPLICATION

The last date to submit online applications was 04.02.2022.

• Candidates who were desirous of applying for the above posts were advised to apply online through the link given on the official website, i.e Click Here   

• Candidates were required to enter all information correctly in the online application form and verify the same before submission, as changes were not be permitted after submission of the application form.

• If a candidate submits two or more applications with a bank challan for the same posts, the application with the latest registration number shall only be considered.

• Note: Candidates who are already employed in BEL were advised to submit prior intimation to their respective SBU/Unit HR.

BEL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Nationality:

Only Indian citizens can apply for these posts.

Age Limit: 

The post-wise upper age limit and category-wise age relaxation are given in the table below:

Age Relaxation:

• The relaxation in upper age limit for OBC candidates is 03 years and SC/ST candidates are 05 years.

• Candidates belonging to the PwBD category having a minimum of 40% disability or more, will get 10 years of relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above.

BEL SELECTION PROCESS

Instead of a separate entrance examination to recruit candidates for these vacancies, BEL considers the educational qualifications and work experience of the candidates for stating them as eligible candidates. This is followed by an Interview Round conducted to test the knowledge and interests of the applicant about the job applied for. 

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria as specified in the advertisement will be allotted weightage as follows:

Note that the Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on the above criteria (out of 85 marks), in the ratio of 1:5.

Terms of Engagement:

For the post of Project Engineers - I:

The Project Engineers will be engaged for an initial period of 03 years which may be extended further by the BEL for a period of 01 year (maximum tenure of 04 years) based on project requirement and individual performance.

For the post of Trainee Engineer-I and Trainee Officers-I:

The Trainee Engineers and the Trainee Officers will be engaged for an initial period of 02 years and may be extended further for a period of 01 year (maximum tenure of 03 years) based on project requirement and individual performance.
