PATNA HC STENO RECRUITMENT 2023:

Patna High Court Stenographer Notification 2023 was issued by the Patna High Court on 31st July 2023. Online applications are invited from interested and eligible candidates for appointment to 51 (08 Regular vacancies + 43 Backlog vacancies of Direct Recruitment of Stenographer in the year 2022) vacant posts of “Stenographer (Group-C Post). PATNA HC STENO ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2023:

Nationality

A candidate for recruitment to the post of Stenographer must be- 

(a) A citizen of India, or 

(b) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1972 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or 

(c) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and the East African countries of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika) and Zambia with the intention of permanently settling in India. 

Age Limit

A candidate for direct recruitment to the post of Stenographer must be at most 18 years of age as on the 1st January, 2023 i.e. a candidate must be born at the latest 01.01.2005. The category-wise permissible upper age limit is as follows:-

Educational Qualification 

The applicant must possess the following essential educational qualification/Computer Qualification for the post of Stenographer as on 01st January 2023 : 

(i) Intermediate (12th Passed) from a recognised Board/ University; and 

(ii) Certificate of English Shorthand and English Typing from a recognised institution; and 

(iii) Diploma/ Certificate of at least six month’s Course in Computer Application from a recognised institution; and 

(iv) Minimum speed of 80 words per minute in English shorthand; and 

(v) Minimum speed of 40 words per minute in English Typing. 

Preferential Qualification:- A candidate – 

(i) who has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period for two years, or 

(ii) who has obtained a ‘B’ certificate of the National Cadet Corps shall, other things being equal, be given preference in direct recruitment to the establishment at the time of interview.

• On the homepage, you will get a link, click on the recruitment tab where you will find a link to “Stenographer Recruitment Examination, 2023”. 

• After clicking on the link, a new screen will appear where you have to click on Register and by submitting your details, register yourself. 

• After the successful registration, your login details will be sent to your registered email ID. 

• Now login and fill out the application form by uploading the documents ad submitting the details.

• Once you filled out the form, pay the required application fee for successful registration.

• Now, take a printout of the final submission for future reference.

Selection will be based on these rounds:-

• Written Test & English shorthand-computer typing test

• Interview

PATNA HC EXAMINATION PATTERN 2023:

Written Test

1. Multiple Choice Questions will be asked Based on the Objective test.

2. The test will be 50 marks consisting of two subjects i.e.: English Language and grammar & Basic Computer Science.

3. The English Language and grammar test will be of 30 marks & Basic Computer Science test will be of 20 marks.

4. The question paper of the Written Test shall be available in English language only.

5. There shall not be negative markings for incorrect answers in the written test.
