Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment 2021

RAJASTHAN POLICE OVERVIEW

Rajasthan Police Service has released a notification on its official website to recruit 4438 Constables in Rajasthan Police. Eligible candidates can apply for Rajasthan-Police recruitment 2021 from 10 November 2021 to 3 December 2021. Candidates need to read the complete article to know more details about this exam. 

Important Note

1. (a) Applications for recruitment will be accepted in online mode only. For this, the SSO-ID (the Single Sign-On Id) of the applicant should be available. If the applicant does not have sSOID, he can create a new SSO-ID at sso.rajasthan.gov.in or ssOID can also be made free of cost at E-Mitra Kiosk or Jan Suvidha Kendra. It is necessary for the applicants to provide this sso ID at the time of filling the online application form. 

RAJASTHAN POLICE APPLICATION

The 'online application form' can be filled by any applicant in the following steps:

Step I:

Candidates can apply at their own level or through other agencies (Cyber Cafe etc.) on the website Click Here Instructions and forms in this regard are also available on the said website. In this case, the examination fee will have to be deposited through net-banking or debit/credit card.

 Step II:

After depositing the examination fee, information will be made available on the e-mail id and mobile number entered by the applicant in the application form. This means that his application has been submitted. 

 Step III:

Candidates are required to upload their photograph in the online application form with their clear and recently taken latest color passport size photograph (size 50 kb to 100 kb) on or after the date of issue of notification (DD/MM/YY). Must be printed and sample signature (size 20kb50 kb) should be brought along for scan at E-Mitra Kiosk or Jan Suvidha Kendra. It should be noted that the photo uploaded at the time of application form should be affixed on the admit card issued for the written examination.

Note:

  1. Fee once deposited against an application form is neither transferable nor refundable/adjustable. 

  2. Candidates are advised to choose their mode of payment i.e. Net banking or e-challan while applying online.

RAJASTHAN POLICE SELECTION PROCESS

Selection for the post of constable will be done as per the provision of Rule 25 of Rajasthan Police Services Rules, 1989 and Rule 28(3) of Rajasthan Police Act 2007. There is a total of 200 marks for all the stages of the exam which will be calculated as follows:.

WRITTEN EXAM

The question paper of the written examination will consist of 150 marks in which 150 questions of objective type will be there and the time duration will be of 2 hours. Each question will carry 01 mark. For wrong answers, 25% of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted. This exam is offline and OMR based. The syllabus of the question paper, details of marks and the number of questions in each part will be as follows.

Note:

  • To pass in the question paper of this written examination, total 40 percent marks for general, economically backward class, other backward class and most backward class candidates, 38 percent total marks for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates, overall are required. It is mandatory to bring the minimum pass mark for other candidates but this is not applicable for the local candidates of the tribal sub-plan area.

  • There will be no written test for the post of Constable (Band)

Physical Screening Test (PST)

Candidates who clear the writing exam will be called for the Physical Screening Test (PST). Candidates have to cover a certain distance in a specific time period, details of which are mentioned below:

Male –  5 KM in 25 Minutes

Female – 5 KM in 35 Minutes

Ex.-serviceman — 5 KM in 30 Minutes

Note:

  • Male Candidates should have a minimum of 5 cm of chest expansion.

  • Minimum weight (for female candidates  only) 47.5 kgs.

  • Minimum height 188 cm

  • If SC/ST candidates are not available for general area as per the above mentioned physical standards, then they will be provided some relaxation in height and chest upto 5 cm.

  • The minimum height prescribed for all female candidates is 152 cm. No relaxation in this will be permissible.
