The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission has released the recruitment notification for the 1262 vacant seats of Junior Assistant for various departments in the state of Uttar Pradesh on 21st October 2022. Those who want to appear in the examination are advised to read this notification carefully, as we are providing you with the all exam-related details which you should know before applying for the examination.
The shortlisting of the candidates for the Combined Junior Assistant Main Examination will be done on the basis of their Preliminary Eligibility Test-2021 ( PET-2021) score, so only those candidates are eligible to participate in this examination, who have appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test- PET-2021 Candidates securing zero or less / negative marks in the actual (Absolute) score or the normalized score in the Preliminary Qualifying Examination- 2021 will not be shortlisted for the Main Examination.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA OF UPSSSC JUNIOR ASSISTANT 2022
Age Limit
Candidates should have attained the age of 18 years and not more than 40 years of age respectively as on July.
Provided that in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes and other categories as may be notified by the Government from time to time, the upper age limit shall be extended by such number of years as may be specified.
Nationality
Candidate must be an Indian citizen to apply for this examination.
Educational Qualification
Essential
1- Candidate must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh or any examination recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.
2- He/She must have a minimum typing speed of 25 words per minute and 30 words per minute in Hindi and English typing respectively.
3- CCC certificate in computer operation granted by DOEACC Society or any certificate equivalent thereto granted by any institution recognized by the Government.
Desirable
Preference will be given to a candidate who-
1- Should have served for a minimum period of 02 years, in the Territorial Army.
OR
2- Possess a 'B' certificate of the National Cadet Corps.

Visit the UPSSSC website at www.upsssc.gov.in.
Click on the UPSSSC Junior Assistant Notification 2022 link, after that a new screen will appear where you will get an “apply link”.
Now login through “PET 2021 Registration Number”.
Your application form will be displayed on the screen, check your details carefully.
In the next step upload your recent photograph and signature in the needed format.
Pay the Processing charges through Online Mode to complete the application process.
Print and save the final Application Form for future use.

Candidates can pay the fee through Credit card / Debit card, Internet Banking or SBI e-challan immediately by following the instructions given on the website. The fee cannot be paid by any other means. On successful payment of the fee, a Payment Acknowledgment Receipt (PAR) will be gnerated in which payment details will be mentioned.
SELECTION PROCESS OF UPSSSC JUNIOR ASSISTANT 2022
Candidates must go through several stages of the selection process in order to be hired for UPSSSC Junior Assistant positions. The stages of the UPSSSC Junior Assistant Selection Process are as follows:

Part- 1 Hindi Comprehension and Writing Ability | Questions will be asked from the candidates to test their knowledge of Hindi language and their comprehension and writing ability. (This question paper will be of the level of High School Examination of the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh). |
Part- 2 General Intelligence Test | The purpose of this test is to measure the ability to understand a new situation, analyze and identify its various elements and reasoning. This test will consist of questions which will be based on intellectual activities like understanding instructions, finding out relations, similarities and analogies, drawing conclusions and so on. |
Part- 3 General Knowledge | This part of the question paper is to assess the general knowledge of the candidates about their surroundings and their ability to use them in society. Such questions will also be placed in this test, which can be used to assess the knowledge of such contemporary events and facts that are visible and experienced every day, which may include historical and geographical facts (especially related to India) and their scientific aspects, which may have any can be expected from an educated person. |
