All the candidates need to visit the official website Click Here of Central Bank of India to apply for the post.

Go to the home page and click on the ‘Apply Online’ under ‘Recruitment' column.

Now fill the application and upload all necessary documents.

Make sure to fill all the details carefully. You can’t alter your application after fee payment.

After filling all the details click on the Submit button and pay your application fee based on your category.

Afterwards click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete your application process.

Application Fee:

Candidates can pay the registration fee by various payment methods, like Debit Card, Credit Card and Internet Banking. Pay ₹ 175/- for SC/ST candidates and ₹ 850/- for all other categories.

Admission ticket:

Admission tickets or hall tickets will be issued online through the official website. Download the admission ticket from the main website. Once you find your admit card, make sure to keep it with you during the test.

Income Tax Officer / AGM-Scale V: CA (preferably passed in one attempt)

Min 10 years post qualification experience (as on 30.09.2021) in the field of Direct Taxation -Supervisor in any Financial Institution/ PSU Bank/ Big four CA firm / Private sector banks / as per RBI guidelines category 1 Chartered Accountant firm prescribed for Bank audit 

Age: 35-45

Information Technology / AGM-Scale V: 1. Compulsory: a. Regular  Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering disciplines such as Information Technology / Computer Science / Institute recognized by Government of India or its Regulatory bodies / Electronics & Communication or Master’s in Computer Application from a University OR

 b. Regular Masters or Bachelor’s degree in AI & ML / Data Analytics / Internet / Digital Technologies from a 

reputed/recognised university/Institute 

2. Desirable: a. Certification/ Degree /Diploma in any area related to Digitization such as Digital Transformation, Digital Product Management etc. OR 

b. Certification in Data Analytics/Internet/ AI & ML/Digital Technologies from a reputed/recognised university/Institute.

c. Min 10-12 years’ experience in a similar role in designing and launching digital products/platforms in BFSI Sector or Fintech companies b. Proven track record of implementation of digital transformation projects/Digital Marketing c. Should have an innovative mind set d. Leading Digital Team and Experience in Managing

Age: 35-50

Data Scientist / CM – Scale IV: Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science /Econometrics /Finance/Mathematics / Statistics or B. Tech/B.E. in IT/ Computer Science from Indian University/Institute recognized by Govt. Bodies/AICTE.

∙ Min 8-10 Years of relevant post qualification experience in the area of Data Statistics /Data Mining /Data Analytics /Data Science in commercial Bank/financial companies /IT services /financial services organizations companies with financial domain.

Age: 28-35

Credit Officer / SM – Scale III: CFA / CA / ACMA/, OR MBA(Finance), MBA finance should be from a recognized institute / college completed regular course. Additional qualification preferably: JAIIB & CAIIB

CEA/CA/ ACMA - 3 years & above (Post Qualification Experience) of FIs, PSBs, Credit Rating Agencies & NBFCs (AUM Rs.10000 crore) in Corporate Credit Assessment /Appraisal. For MBA- 4 years & above (Post Qualification Experience) of FIs, PSBs, Credit Rating Agencies & NBFCs (AUM Rs.10000 crore) in Corporate Credit Appraisal / Assessment

Data Engineer / SM – Scale III: Post Graduate Degree (or equivalent Diploma) in Econometrics/ Statistics/ Finance /Mathematics /Computer Science /Economics or B. Tech /B.E. in Computer Science/IT from Indian University/Institute recognized by Govt. Bodies/AICTE

Min 5 Years of relevant post qualification experience in the area of Data Analytics/Data Statistics /Data Science /Data Mining in commercial Bank/financial companies/financial services organizations/IT services companies with financial domain.

IT Security Analyst / SM – Scale III: Engineering Graduate in M.Sc. (Computer Science) / ECE or MCA / IT / M.Sc. (IT) / Computer Science from a recognized University / Institute. Certification (Compulsory): CISSP / CISA / CRISC / CISM / CEH certification

Min 6 years of post-basic qualification experience in IT, out of which min 3 years in Ethical Hacking / Threat Hunting / Red Teaming / Application Security / VAPT / Digital Forensic Analysis.

Age: 26-40 year

IT SOC Analyst / SM – Scale II: Engineering Graduate in IT / Computer Science / MCA or ECE / M.Sc. (IT) / M.Sc. (Computer Science) from a recognized University / Institute. Certification (Compulsory): CISM / CISA / CISSP / CRISC /CEH certification

Mini 6 years of post-basic qualification experience in IT, out of which minimum 3 years in SOC operations like Asset Integration, Rule creation, Incident management, Event Analysis, Monitoring and compliance.

Age: 26-40 years 

Risk Manager / SM – Scale III: 

∙ Basic Qualifications – MBA in banking or/ Finance or its equivalent/Post Graduate Diploma in Finance or/ Banking /Post Graduate Diploma in Finance & Banking or its equivalent/Post Graduate in Statistics

∙ Preferable Professional Qualification – FRM/CFA/Diploma in Risk Management/PRM/Advanced Degree in analytical field (e.g., Applied Maths, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Data Science fields) Preferable Certification – Certification in SAS/SPSS

Experience – Minimum 3 years post qualification experience in Treasury / ALM / Credit /Risk Management.

Age: 20-35 year

Technical Officer (Credit) / SM – Scale III: Degree in Engineering in Civil /Production/Metallurgy / Mechanical / Chemical /Textile

3 Years’ experience in TEV Project /study appraisal with Banks/FIs.

Age: 26-34 year

Financial Analyst / Manager – Scale II: pass in final examination of Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI)/ the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)/ or MBA with specialization in Finance from a renowned institute.

For ICWA /CA Candidates – NIL For Candidates with MBA (Finance) - 3 years’ experience as an officer in a Public Sector Bank/ Undertaking in the reputed field.

Age: 20-35 year

Information Technology / Manager – Scale II: 3 years Engineering Degree in Electronics and telecommunications / Computer Science/Computer Applications /Electronics/ Electronics and Communications/Information Technology /Electronics and Instrumentation or Post graduate degree in Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics / Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electronics & Communication/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications from an Institution/ University/ Board recognized by Government of India /approved by Government registered body. OR Graduate having passed DOEACC “B” level.

2 years in IT field is required for Post Qualification Work Experience 

Age: 20-35 years

Law Officer / Manager – Scale II: Graduate in Law (LLB).

Post Qualification Experience: - an advocate with Bar Council and 3 years’ experience of practice at Bar or Judicial service and/or 2 years as a Law Officer in the Legal Department of a Scheduled Commercial Bank or the State/ Central Government or of a Public Sector Undertaking and candidates should produce a certificate of having the requisite post qualification work experience from the Court/ organization/ Bar council

Risk Manager / Manager – Scale II: MBA/Post Graduate Diploma in Banking / & Finance /Post Graduate in Math/ Statistics/ Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance with aggregate of at least 60% marks from Indian University/Institute recognized by Govt. Bodies /AICTE. Additional Preferable Professional Qualification: CFA/ FRM/ Diploma in Risk Management

Min 2 Years of post-qualification experience in Credit / Risk Management/ ALM /Treasury

Age: 20-35 years.

Security/ Manager – Scale II: a Graduate. Medical Category- Shape 1/equivalent (as mentioned in discharge orders/relevant documents). Computer Literacy: Working and operating knowledge in computer systems like MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT etc.)

Ex-Commissioned Officers of the Rank of Captain or above from Indian Army with minimum 5 year of service or equivalent rank from Navy, Air Force and Para Military Forces.

Age: 26-45 years

Security / AM – Scale I: A Graduate Medical Category- Shape 1/equivalent (as mentioned in relevant documents/ discharge orders). Computer Literacy: Working and operating knowledge in computer systems like MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT etc.)

Ex-Junior Commissioned Officers with minimum 5 year of service as JCO in Indian Army or equivalent rank from Navy, Air Force and Para Military Forces.

Age: 26-45 years

(C) Nationality: 

A candidate must be either

i) A Citizen of India or

ii) A subject of Nepal or

iii) A subject of Bhutan

Banking Awareness- Indian banking industry, History, RBI and monetary Policy, Main functions, RTGs, MSF, Types of money, FERA and FEMA, Capital Market of India, Public Finance, Primary and Secondary Market, Source of income and types of goods, Revenue of central govt.

Computer knowledge- Basics questions related to the computer industry, Number system, History of computer, Computer abbreviation, Security tools, virus, hacking, Basics computer terminology, Computer hardware parts and controls.

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the exam and interview. The candidates must go through official notice.

CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA SO SALARY

Scale of pay:

At the inception of the job, basic pay for the post of JMG SCALE I is ₹ 36,000/- in the scale of pay 36000-1490(7)-46430-1740(2)-49910-1990(7)-63840.

Basic pay for the post of MMG SCALE II is 48,170/- in the scale of pay 48170-1740(1)-49910-1990(10)-69810.

Basic pay for the post of MMG SCALE III is ₹ 63,840/- in the scale of pay 63840-1990(5)-73790-2220(2)-78230.

Basic pay for the post of SMG SCALE IV is ₹ 76,010/- in the scale of pay 76010-2220(4)-84890-2500(2)-89890.

Basic pay for the post of TMG SCALE V is ₹ 89,890/- in the scale of pay 89890-2500(2)-94890-2730(2)-100350.

The other benefits are also applicable such as DA, Lease rental/HRA, CCA, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.
