IMPORTANT POINTS: AT A GLANCE
The Bihar Staff Selection Commission has received the requisitions related to vacancies (reservation category-wise) of graduate-level posts from various departments/offices by the General Administration Department, Bihar, Patna. According to the requirement, online applications were accepted by eligible Indian citizens for the combined graduate-level competitive examination.
The applications were accepted from 14th April to 1st June 2022. The Bihar Staff Selection Commission has extended the last date for submission of the application forms for the Combined Graduate Level Examination from 17th May to 1st June 2022. The application link has been activated on 14th April 2022 at their official website i.e.BSSCThrough this recruitment process 2187 candidates are going to be recruited against the post lying vacant in different departments.

APPLICATION PROCESS
How To Apply
Visit the Commission's official website, www.bssc.org, to begin the online application process for the CGL. To find the URL for registration, Click Here.
Click on this link, fill out the form, and you will receive your unique login ID and password.
After creating your login ID and password, log in and go to the Apply Online section of the official website. Select the BSSC CGL Recruitment.
Completely fill out the form with all of the necessary data. Afterwards, the required documents should be scanned and uploaded. Double-check these details before clicking the Submit button.
After that, you'll be directed to an online payment page where you can finish paying the application fee. Once the payment has been made, you can download the application form.
The application form should be printed. Download and print the receipt for the application fee payment made online.

ADMIT CARD
Admit card is the most important document which is mandatory to appear in the exam. Admit card is the document in which your exam timing, exam date, name, date of birth and centre details are mentioned. Candidates are required to read their admit cards carefully before appearing in the examination.

Your registration number and password must be entered.
The admit card will appear on the screen.
Take a printout of the document after downloading it.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1. Educational Qualification
By the last date of submission of the online application, candidates must have completed graduation from a recognized university and passed the minimum educational qualification mentioned against the posts mentioned in the below table.

Candidate's minimum age should be 21 years and 37 for Male or 40 for Female (General)

EXAM PATTERN
Prelims
The BSSC CGL Prelims is a qualifying exam with an objective format. The BSSC CGL Prelims Exam lasts 2 hours and 15 minutes. Candidates who pass the BSSC CGL preliminary test are eligible to appear in the BSSC CGL mains exam.

Mains
The BSSC CGL Mains Exam consists of two parts, Paper-1 and Paper-2. Paper 1 consists of 100 questions for a total of 400 marks and there is a language test in Hindi. Candidates must receive at least a 30 percent on the first exam in order to qualify for paper 2. Three sections are there in the BSSC CGL Mains Paper-2 exam. The format and substance of Paper 2 are the same as those of the preliminary exam. It will take two hours and fifteen minutes to finish each paper.
