ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR PROHIBITION CONSTABLE 2022

Nationality: 

Candidate must be an Indian citizen to be able to apply for this post. *(Male, Female & Transgenders can apply)

Age Limit (as on January 01, 2022):

The candidate should have attained a minimum age of 18 years. The category-wise upper age limit is tabulated below:

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have completed intermediate (10+2) by January 1, 2022, to be eligible for these positions. Educational institutes that are equivalent to or recognised by the Bihar government, such as Madrassa and Sanskrit education, will be considered as well.

Physical Standards:

No marks will be given for the physical criteria of the candidates- Height, Chest and Weight. Provided that the candidates not fulfilling the prescribed qualifications shall be declared unsuccessful.

The selection process for this post is divided into two stages, i.e.

• First Stage: Written Examination (Qualifying)

• Second Stage: Physical Ability/Endurance Test (for Final Merit)
