HIMACHAL PRADESH POLICE CONSTABLE OVERVIEW
Himachal Pradesh Police has released a notification on its official website to recruit 1334 Constables in Himachal Pradesh Police Eligible candidates can apply for Himachal Pradesh Police recruitment 2021 from 1 October 2021 to 30 October 2021. HIMACHAL PRADESH POLICE CONSTABLE APPLICATION
Submission of online recruitment application (ORA)
Desirous candidates shall submit applications in the prescribed online format w.e.f. 19 October,2021 to 31st October, 2021 (including in Tribal Districts of Lahaul & Spiti and Kinnaur).

This Link/URL will remain open from 0800 hrs on 1st October to 0800 hrs on 31st October, 2021.
(a) The category and other details filled by the candidate in application form will be taken as final and will not be re-considered or changed during the further recruitment process.
(b) incomplete ORA submitted examination fee, scanned photograph and scanned signatures of prescribed size, will be rejected straightaway.
(C) ORA will be considered only in respect of vacancies of the district in which the applicant is ordinarily resident according to the Bonafide Himachali Certificate obtained by the candidates. Further, a candidate shall only be considered against the district shown as his residence in the Bonafide Himachali Certificate.
FEE DEPOSITION
Fees as under will be charged from the candidates. This includes Rs. 100/- as "COVID-19 protocol implementation fee".
(a) A processing fee of Rs. 200+100=300/-(Three Hundred) only will be charged
from the following categories:(1) General Category (2) Gorkhas (3) Home Guards(General/Gorkhas)
(b) A processing fee of Rs 50+100=150/-(One hundred and fifty) only will be
charged from the following categories :(1) Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/BPL/EWS (2) Women (3) Home Guards(OBC/SC/ST)
PAYMENT GATEWAY
The candidates have an option to submit the required application fees through online or offline mode. The HP Police Department has collaborated with the State Bank of India to facilitate the payment of application fees.
HIMACHAL PRADESH POLICE CONSTABLE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The Eligibility criteria are set by the board and candidates must meet them for the post. The details are given below:

As of 31 october 2021, both male and female candidates should be of ages between 18-25 years. Relaxations in the upper age limit shall be provided to SC/ST and Other categories candidates as per the Government Rules. | Candidates should have 10+2 (Senior Secondary) passed from a recognized Board. |
HIMACHAL PRADESH POLICE CONSTABLE EXAM PATTERN
Written examination shall be of 80 marks. The duration of the test will be 60 minutes. It will consist of objective type questions from following subjects

Himachal Pradesh Police Department in the following pay scales, as per References (a) & (b):
(a) Rs. 5910-20200+ Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-(initial start Rs.7810/-)
(b) And after 08 years of regular service, Pay Band will be Rs.10300–34800+Rs.3200/-Grade Pay.
