IBPS CLERK RECRUITMENT 2024

IBPS Clerk XIII Notification 2024 has been issued by the Institute Of Banking Personnel Selection for CRP Clerks XIII recruitment.  This highly competitive exam is conducted by IBPS and offers aspiring individuals an opportunity to secure clerk positions in various centralised banks in India.

The IBPS Clerk exam is one of the toughest exams in India but offers an excellent opportunity for candidates pursuing a career in banking. The IBPS Clerk exam serves as a crucial entry point for fresh graduates seeking employment in the banking industry. With a large number of candidates vying for limited positions, cracking this exam is considered quite challenging.

The online examination, comprising both Preliminary and Main exams, is tentatively scheduled to be held in August/September 2023 and October 2023, respectively. WHAT IS IBPS CLERK?

Nationality

To be eligible for IBPS Clerk recruitment, candidates must meet the following nationality criteria:

  • Must be a Citizen of India

  • Must be a subject of Nepal

  • Must be a subject of Bhutan

  • Must be a Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India

  • Must be a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India

However, candidates falling under categories (ii), (iii), (iv), and (v) above need to possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India in their favor.

Age limit:

The age limit for IBPS Clerk recruitment is as follows:

  • Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years old.

  • The candidate's date of birth should fall between 02.07.1995 and 01.07.2003 (both dates inclusive).

Age relaxation is provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories. The age relaxations for various categories are as follows:

Educational Qualifications:

To be eligible for IBPS Clerk recruitment, candidates must meet the following educational qualifications:

  • Degree (Graduation): Candidates must have a Graduation degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should possess a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that proves their graduation status on the day of registration. Additionally, the candidate should indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

  • Computer Literacy: Candidates must have operating and working knowledge of computer systems. This means they should have a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in computer operations/language or should have studied Computer/Information Technology as one of the subjects in their High School/College/Institute.

  • Proficiency in the Official Language: It is preferable for candidates to have proficiency in the Official Language of the State/Union Territory (UT) for which they are applying for vacancies. This includes the ability to read, write, and speak the Official Language.

HOW TO COMPLETE THE IBPS CLERK APPLICATION FORM?

Here is a step-by-step guide to completing the IBPS Clerk application process:

Step 1: Visit the official website of IBPS. 

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the "IBPS Clerk Exam Application" link. 

Step 3: Click on the "New Registration" link. 

Step 4: Fill in the required details in the registration form, such as your name, father's name, date of birth (DOB), etc. 

Step 5: After entering the information, verify it for accuracy and click on the "Save and Next" button. 

Step 6: Upload the scanned copies of the necessary documents as per the specified guidelines. This may include your photograph, signature, and other relevant documents. 

Step 7: Once the documents are uploaded, click on the "Next" button. 

Step 8: Provide your educational and professional details on the subsequent page, and then click on the "Next" button. 

Step 9: Proceed to make the payment of the application fee. You can use online net banking, credit card, or debit card for payment. 

Step 10: After successful payment, download and save a copy of the application form and the fee payment receipt for future reference.

IBPS CLERK ADMIT CARD

Applicants for the IBPS Clerk exam are required to download their admit cards from the official website of IBPS. The IBPS Clerk admit card will not be sent to candidates via post or any other means. The admit card will be issued in two phases: for the Online Preliminary Exam and the Online Main Exam.

How do I download the IBPS Clerk admission card?

The steps to download the IBPS Clerk Admit Card are as follows:

Step 1: Visit the IBPS official website.

Step 2: Click on “Clerk CRP” on the left side of the home page.

Step 3: Now click on “Download Admit Card for IBPS Clerk Exam”.

Step 4: Enter User ID and Password.

Step 5: Your admit card will appear on the screen after entering the details.

SELECTION PROCESS FOR IBPS CLERK

The selection process for the IBPS Clerk begins with the announcement of the exam and ends with the assignment of the banks. Candidates are selected on the basis of an online exam divided into two phases:

  • IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam

  • The Main exam is the second phase of the IBPS Clerk exam and is conducted for candidates who qualify in the Preliminary exam.

  • It consists of four sections: General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude.

  • The exam is conducted for a total duration of 160 minutes.
