IBPS PO Notification 2024 has been issued by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) on 1st August 2023. IBPS conducts the IBPS PO Exam each year to find suitable individuals for the post of Probationary Officer and Management Trainee in Indian Banks. The Preliminary and Main online exams for the upcoming Common Recruitment Process to select candidates for Probationary Officer/Management Trainee posts in the Participating Banks are tentatively going to take place in September/ October 2023.

WHAT IS IBPS PO?

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the highly sought-after IBPS PO Test to recruit talented individuals as Probationary Officers (PO) and Management Trainees (MT) in several nationalised banks across India. This recruitment exam offers a golden opportunity for aspiring candidates to embark on a rewarding career in the banking sector. Eleven nationalised banks hire new employees using this recruiting exam for their locations all throughout the nation. IBPS PO ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2024

There are three parameters such as Nationality, Age and Education Qualifications which define the eligibility of a candidate for this recruitment. 

1. Nationality

A candidate must be either - 

(i) A  Subject of Nepal or 

(ii) A  Subject of Bhutan or 

(iii) A Citizen of India or 

(iv) A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or 

(v) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmaar, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, The United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India

2. Age

Candidates interested in appearing for the IBPS PO Exam 2024 must fulfill the age criteria set by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). The age limit for candidates applying for the IBPS PO/MT posts is 20 to 30 years of age i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2003 (both dates inclusive). However, certain categories are eligible for age relaxation as per government guidelines. 3. Educational Qualification

Candidates aspiring to appear for the IBPS PO Exam 2024 must have a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online. 

IBPS PO APPLICATION PROCESS 2024

Candidates can apply online only from 1st August 2023 to 21st August 2023 and no other mode of application will be accepted. If you are facing any trouble in the application process, you can follow the below-mentioned steps;- 

Step 1: Go to the official website of the IBPS..

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the CRP-PO/MT-XIII application link to access the application form.

Step 3: Register with valid email and contact details. Complete the application form with accurate information.

Step 4: Carefully fill out the application and upload scanned copies of any required documentation as specified in the guidelines.

Step 5: Proceed to the payment section and pay the prescribed application fee through available online payment options.

Step 6: After successful submission, download and save a copy of the submitted application form for your records. Take a printout for future reference.

Selection will be based on three phases:-

1. Preliminary Exam

IBPS PO EXAM PATTERN 2024

a. IBPS PO Preliminary Examination Pattern

The structure of the Examinations which will be conducted online are as follows:

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS.The adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination. 

b. IBPS PO Main Examination Pattern

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Online Main examination for CRP- PO/MT-XIII will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Banks and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. Interviews will be conducted at select centres. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter. Candidates are required to download their interview call letters from authorised IBPS website www.ibps.in.
