JHARKHAND POLICE CONSTABLE OVERVIEW

Jharkhand Staff Selection commission  (JSSC) has released a notification on its official website Click Here to recruit 2810 Constable in Jharkhand Police.  

Eligible candidates can apply for Jharkhand Police 2017 from 5thAugust 2017 to 4th September 2017. Candidates need to read the complete article to know more details about this exam. 

Important Dates 

As per the latest notification of the Corporation, some important dates regarding the examination are given below:

JHARKHAND POLICE CONSTABLE APPLICATION

Candidates can apply online for the examination, in case you are facing any trouble while filling the application form, you can follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website of the Corporation which is ,  Click Here

2. Click the “Recruitment” section.

3. Now, Select the post which you want to apply for the examination.

     4.  Register yourself with required details.

     5.  Login with your valid Email. Id and Contact Number.Your login details will be sent to your email address after the registration.

     6.  Enter your details carefully and click to proceed.

     7.  Upload your required documents in required format and size.

     8.  Pay your application fee according to your category. 

     9.  Download your application form after the final submission and take print     out.

Application Fee 

Application fee as per the guidelines for the various category is written below:

ADMIT CARD OR HALL TICKET:

Before the examination, your admit card will be updated on the official website of the Jharkhand Police. 

Some steps are given below which will  help you download your admit card.

1. Go to the official website  Click Here 

2. Now, click on the Exam Admit Card.

3. Enter your Registration details such as your registration Email ID or Contact Number.

4. Your admit card appears on the screen.

5. Now, download your admit card and take the printout of the same for the further process.

(Note: Admit Card or Hall Ticket is the most important document for your examination in which all required details such as your Name, Date of Birth, Photo, Registration Details, Name of your Centre, Date of your Examination and Reporting Time of your Examination are also mentioned.)

JHARKHAND POLICE CONSTABLE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The Eligibility criteria are set by the board and candidates must meet them to become eligible for the post.The details are mentioned below:

Age Limit 

As of  1st August 2017, both Male and Female candidates should be between 18-25 years.

 Educational Qualification

  Passed High School Exam from any Recognized Board in India.

 Nationality

Candidates must be an Indian citizen with a valid citizenship status issued by the government of India.

The Examination pattern for written exam is given below:

Physical Standard Test (PST)

Mentioned below are the required Physical Standards for the post of Constable.Go through the table carefully. 

Note :Male Candidates should have a minimum of 5 cm of chest expansion.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

Candidates who cleared the Physical Standard Test (PST) will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates have to cover a certain distance in a specific Time Period, details of which are mentioned below:

JHARKHAND POLICE CONSTABLE SELECTION

Candidate’s selection process will consist of three stages

Stage I - Online / Offline  Written Exam

The online/offline written examination will be an objective type paper for 340 questions in total.

Stage II - Document Verification & Physical Standards Test

In this stage, candidates will have to provide all the documents they were required to upload at the time of registration. The candidate’s physical measurement will be tested by the board.

Stage III - Physical Efficiency Test.
