JKSSB JE OVERVIEW

We have good news for the candidates preparing for government jobs. A notification has been recently released by JKSSB to invite applications from the eligible candidates for a total of 462 posts under different departments of union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) conducts state level examinations for the recruitment of various posts such as Junior Mechanical Engineer and Junior Civil Engineer for the state. Before applying for the posts advertised through this recruitment notification, candidates are required to go through different criteria such as eligibility qualifications, examination pattern and exam dates etc.

How To Apply

• Candidates can visit the official website of board i.e. Click Here    

• Now, fill your required details carefully.

• Upload your copy of your original documents in required size and format.

• Pay your application fee via net banking.

• Download your application response and take a print out of the same.

Application Fee

Candidates have to pay Rs. 350/- for each post and the fee is to be paid through Net  Banking, Credit Cards, Debit Cards.

Admit Card Or Hall Ticket:

Before 10 or 15 days of the examination, your admit card will be updated on the official website of the recruitment board. Some steps are given below which will help you download your admit card.

1. Go to the official website i.e. Click Here 

2. Now, click the exam admit card.

3. Now, enter your registration details such as your registration ID or password.

4. Your admit card appears on the screen.

5. Now, download your admit card and take the printout of the same for the further process.

(Note: Your admit card or hall ticket is the most important document for your examination in which all required details such as your name, date of birth, photo, registration details, name of your centre, date of your examination and reporting time of your examination are mentioned.)

JKSSB JE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

(a) Educational Qualification

Candidates must have a diploma of three year in Mechanical/Civil Engineering from any recognized university of India.

(b) Age

Category wise age limit is given below:

JKSSB JE EXAM PATTERN

The examination will consist of  Objective type questions and will be conducted in English only. Total 120 questions will be asked in the examination, which candidates have to complete in 2 hours. Each wrong answer will lead to a deduction of marks 0.25. Every right answer will be awarded with 1 mark.
