JKSSB OVERVIEW
JKSSB (Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board) conducts examination every year for the recruitment of various Departmental services and non gazetted posts of the union territory of Jammu And Kashmir. Post coming under this examination is Sub Inspector.

Fill your required details carefully.
Upload your required documents in needed size and format.
Pay your application fee via net banking.
Download your application response and take a print out of the same.

ADMIT CARD OR HALL TICKET:
Before 10 or 15 days of the examination, your admit card will be updated on the official website of the authorities. Some steps are given below which will help you download your admit card.

Now, click the exam admit card.
Now, enter your registration details such as your registration ID or password.
Your admit card appears on the screen.
Now, download your admit card and take the printout of the same for the further process.
(Note: Your admit card or hall ticket is the most important document for your examination in which all required details such as your name, date of birth, photo, registration details, name of your centre, date of your examination and reporting time of your examination are mentioned.)

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a bachelor's Degree from any recognized university or equivalent qualification.
Age
Candidates must belong to the age group i.e. 18 — 28 years.

JKSSB EXAMINATION PATTERN
Written Test
Examination consists of 4 sections. Every right answer will be rewarded as 1 mark and each wrong answer will lead to a deduction of 0.25 marks.

Skill Test
This examination will be conducted on a computer in which the typing speed of the candidates will be tested. There is no specific syllabus for this section. Minimum typing speed required for this examination is 35 words per minute. This examination will be of 20 marks.
JKSSB SYLLABUS
General English- Comprehension, Editing/ Proofreading, Narration, Articles, Pronouns, Clauses, Phrases, Punctuations, Synonyms and Antonyms, Idioms, etc.
General Awareness (JK UT)- Current events, Political & Physical Divisions of India, Important Rivers, History, Economy, Geography, Heritage and Culture, Important Tourist Destination, etc.
Numerical and Reasoning Ability- Basic Arithmetic and Reasoning
Basic Concepts of Computer- Fundamentals of Computer sciences, Hardware and Software, Input and Output devices, Operating system, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access and Power-point and Internet etc.
