JSSC OVERVIEW

JSSC (Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission) conducts examinations for various posts under the Jharkhand state government. This examination is held for recruiting eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Branch Officer, Junior Secretariat , etc.

How to apply

• Candidates can go through the official website of board i.e. apply

• Fill your required details carefully.

• Upload your required documents in needed size and format.

• Pay your application fee via net banking.

• Download your application response and take a print out of the same.

Application fee

According to the categories application fee details are given below:

ADMIT CARD OR HALL TICKET:

Before 10 or 15 days of the examination, your admit card will be updated on the official website of the authorities. Some steps are given below which will help you download your admit card.

1. Go to the official website i.e. ADMIT CARD

2. Now, click the exam admit card.

3. Now, enter your registration details such as your registration ID or password.

4. Your admit card appears on the screen.

5. Now, download your admit card and take the printout of the same for the further process.

(Note: Your admit card or hall ticket is the most important document for your examination in which all required details such as your name, date of birth, photo, registration details, name of your centre, date of your examination and reporting time of your examination are mentioned.)

JSSC ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have a bachelor's degree from any recognised university.

• Candidates must have cleared 10+2 examination with a recognized board or institute of the state Jharkhand only. 

• Candidates should have the knowledge of local customs, language and environment.

Age

Candidates must be between 21 to 35 years of age. Age relaxation as applicable will be given according to the Jharkhand SSC CGL rule . For the clear view of the candidates age relaxation as per their categories we are providing here for reference-

JSSC EXAM PATTERN

Exams will be conducted into 2 phases i.e. prelims and mains.

Preliminary examination (Phase I)

2. Mains examination (Phase II)

JSSC SYLLABUS

Syllabus for Prelims Exam- 

Concept of Disease, Infection, Immunity and Body Defence Mechanisms, Waste Disposal, Communicable Diseases, Epidemic Management, Crae in Communicable Disease, etc.

Syllabus for Mains Exam- 

 Hindi language knowledge and English language knowledge, Regional languages, General studies, General Knowledge of Jharkhand state, General Science, General Maths, etc.
