KVS PRT RECRUITMENT 2022

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is an independent organisation that works with the Indian Ministry of Education. It is a network of Central Government Schools which is affiliated with the CBSE board. Each year, the KVS Exam is held to recruit thousands of candidates for non-teaching and teaching staff.

Kendriya Vidyalaya School has issued a detailed notification for the recruitment of a PRT (Primary Teacher). The application for the same will begin on December 5, 2022. KVS invites online applications for the recruitment of 6414 vacant seats of Primary Teachers in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

The recruitment examination will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT). If selected, the candidates may be posted anywhere in India on initial posting as per the requirement of the organization.

KNOW THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR KVS PRT

Age Limit

To apply for this post, candidates must be below 30 years of age. There is a relaxation in the upper age limit for some categories. The details for the same are tabulated below:-

Educational Qualification

Essential:- 1. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) 

OR 

Senior Secondary(or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed.) 

OR 

Senior Secondary(or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education(Special Education) 

OR 

Graduation with atleast 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)*.

2. Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Paper-I) conducted by the Govt. of India. 3. Proficiency to teach through Hindi & English media. 

Desirable:- Knowledge of working on Computer.

  • On the homepage, click on the apply link and select the KVS PRT. 

  • A new screen now appears in front of you, where you may carefully fill out your details and upload your documents.

  • To finish the application form, pay the application fee now. 

  • After completing the application process, you can download your application form in pdf format and save it for future reference. 

Application fee

Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs.1500/- for the examination. 

Note:

  • No fee is required to be paid by candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH and ExServicemen categories.

  • Fee once deposited, shall not be refunded under any circumstances. 

SELECTION PROCESS OF KVS PRT 2022

To plan their preparation, candidates must be familiar with the KVS PRT recruitment 2022 selection procedure. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the written examination as well as the class demo/interview/skill test. The two stages of the selection process are as follows:

  • Stage-I: The written test of 180 marks.

  • Stage-II: The Professional Competency Test of 60 marks
