The State Bank Of India has invited online applications from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Probationary Officers (POs) in the State Bank of India. The selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India. Those who want to apply for the examination can apply online from 22.09.2022 to 12.10.2022.

SBI PO APPLICATION PROCESS
Follow the below mentioned steps to apply for the SBI PO Recruitment 2022:
Visit the official website of the State Bank of India at https://sbi.co.in/
Click the “Careers” tab at the top of the homepage.
Look out for the “Apply Online” link given under the “Recruitment of Probationary Officers Advertisement”.
Fill out the application form and check it carefully before submitting it.
On saving complete/ partially complete application, a provisional registration number and password are generated by the system and displayed on the screen which should be carefully noted.
Candidates can reopen and edit their saved application form (if required) by using their registration number and password.
Once the application is filled out completely, you should carefully check the form before final submission. No change/ edit will be allowed thereafter. The registration at this stage is provisional.
After rechecking and ensuring the correctness of the particulars in the application form, pay fees through the payment gateway integrated with the application, by following the instructions available on the screen.
The payment can be made by using a debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen. Transaction charges for online payment, if any, will be borne by the candidates
On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt and application form will be generated, which may be printed for record.

SBI PO ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Age Limit
Candidates must be between the age of 21 years to 30 years as on 01.04.2022 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.2001 and not earlier than 02.04.1992 (both days inclusive). Relaxation in Upper age limit shall be as below:

Educational Qualification
Candidate must be Graduated in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for an interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2022. Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.12.2022. Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, and Cost Accountant would also be eligible.
SBI PO SELECTION PROCESS
Candidates will be selected for the post of Probationary Officers through the three-Phase process i.e. Phase-1 is Preliminary Examination, Phase-2 is Main Examination and Phase-3 is Psychometric Test.
SBI PO Exam Pattern
Here we are providing you with the detailed exam pattern of the Probationary Officers for a clear vision.
Phase 1 (Preliminary Examination)
There will be an online preliminary examination with an objective test of 100 points. The test will be divided into three sections, each with its separate timings, as follows:

Phase 2 (Main Examination)
The main examination will be conducted online and consists of objective questions for 200-marks and a 50-marks descriptive test. s. The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after the conclusion of the Objective Test and candidates will have to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer.
1) Objective:- The duration of the objective test is 3 hours, consisting of 4 Sections for a total of 200 marks. There will be separate timing for every section. | |||

Phase 3 (Psychometric Test)
The individuals who will be selected for Phase-III may take a psychometric test for a personality profile. The results of the test may be presented to the interview panel so they may get a complete picture of the applicants. Phase 3 comprises of:

SBI PO SELECTION CRITERIA
1. Category-wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in the Preliminary Examination. There will be no sectional cut-off. Candidates numbering 10 times (approx.) the vacancies in each category will be short-listed for Main Examination from the top of the above merit list.
2. Category-wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in Phase II (Main Exam). There will be no sectional cut-off. Candidates numbering up to 3 times (approx.) of the category-wise vacancies will be shortlisted for Phase-III from the top of the category-wise merit list subject to a candidate scoring the minimum aggregate qualifying score, as decided by the Bank.
3. The candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-II and Phase-III separately. The marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II), both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in Phase III for preparing the final merit list. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added to preparing the final merit list for selection.
4. The marks obtained by the candidates in Phase-II (Main Examination both Objective & Descriptive Tests) and Phase-III (Group Exercise & Interview) will be normalised to 100 marks as detailed below:-

The final merit list is arrived at after aggregating (out of 100) converted marks of Phase-II and Phase-III. Selection will be made from the top merit-ranked candidates in each category.

SBI PO SALARY
Presently, the starting basic pay is 41,960/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.
