SSB HEAD CONSTABLE OVERVIEW

Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has released the notification for the recruitment of 115 Head Constable (Ministerial) in SSB on its official website Click Here

 Interested candidates can apply for SSB Head Constable Recruitment through Online Mode from 24th July 2021 to 22nd August 2021. 

Read all the instructions carefully before filling out the Online Application.

IMPORTANT DATES 

Some important dates regarding the examination are as follows:

SSB HEAD CONSTABLE APPLICATION FORM

The 'Online Application Form' can be filled by any applicant in the following steps:

1. Visit the official website of the Corporation which is ,Click Here

2. Click the “Recruitment” section.

3. Select the post which you want to apply for the examination.

4. Now, Register yourself with the required details.

5. Login with your Email Id and Contact Number. Your login details will be sent to your email address after the registration.

6. Enter your details carefully and click to proceed.

7. Upload your required documents in the required format and size.

8. Pay your Application Fee according to your category.

9. Download your application form after the final submission and take a print out.

APPLICATION FEE

Application fee as per the given guidelines for the various categories is as follows:

ADMIT CARD OR HALL TICKET:

Before the examination, your Admit Card will be updated on the official website of the SSB Constable. 

Some steps are given below which will  help you download your admit card.

1. Go to the official website i.e ,Click Here

2. Click on the exam admit card button.

3. Now, Enter your registration details such as your Registration ID or Contact Number.

4. Your Admit Card appears on the screen.

5. Now, download your Admit Card and take the printout of the same for the further process.

(Note: Admit Card or Hall Ticket is the most important document for your examination in which all required details such as your Name, Date of Birth, Photo, Registration Details, Name of your Centre, Date of your Examination and Reporting Time of your Examination are also mentioned.)

SSB HEAD CONSTABLE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The Eligibility criteria are decided by the board and candidates must meet them to become eligible for the post. The details are as follows—

AGE LIMIT

As of 22 August 2021, both Male and Female candidates should be of ages between 18- 25 years.

Relaxations in the upper age limit shall be provided to SC/ST and Other categories candidates as per the SSB HC Ministerial Rules.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate(10+2)  exam from any recognized Board or University or equivalent

 and

 English Typing : 35 WPM

 Hindi Typing : 30 WPM

NATIONALITY

 Candidates must be an Indian citizen with a valid citizenship status issued by the government of India.

SSB HEAD CONSTABLE EXAM PATTERN

Examination pattern are given below:

SSB HEAD CONSTABLE SYLLABUS

Subjects 

1.General Knowledge

2.Mathematics

3.Reasoning 

4.General English/ General Hindi

PHYSICAL STANDARD TEST 

Mentioned below are the required Physical Standards for the post of  SSB Constable .Go through the table carefully .

Note :Male Candidates should have a minimum of 5 cm of chest expansion.

PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST :

Candidates who clear the Physical Standard Test (PST) will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates have to cover a certain distance in a Specific Time Period, details of which are mentioned below:

SSB HEAD CONSTABLE SELECTION PROCESS

There are three phases in the selection process of recruitment of SSB constable posts by  the board.

 STAGE I -PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST /PHYSICAL STANDARD TEST 

In this stage the candidate's physical measurement will be tested by the board. The candidate who qualified the Physical Efficiency Test will be called for the physical Standard Test. 

 STAGE II - ONLINE WRITTEN EXAM

The written paper will be completed in two phases

 PHASE 1 -  COMMON ENTRANCE TEST - It will be an objective type paper for 100 marks in total, consisting 100 multiple type question

 PHASE 2 -  SKILL/ TYPING TEST - Skill Typing Test will be conducted by the board on the basis of recruitment rules .

 STAGE III -  DOCUMENT VERIFICATION & MEDICAL TEST

Candidates will have to provide all the documents they were required to upload at the time of registration. The candidate’s Medical Test will be tested by the board.
