INDIAN NAVY AA & SSR OVERVIEW
The Indian Navy invited online applications of unmarried male candidates for the post of AA (Artificer Apprentice) and SSR ( Senior Secondary Recruits) in the August 2022 batch. Candidates who are eligible to apply for this post can fill out their application from 29th March 2022 to 5th April 2022. The vacancies are going to recruit through this is 2500. The vacancies for SSR will be earmarked State-wise.

INDIAN NAVY AA & SSR APPLICATION
How To Apply
Candidates can apply online on the official website Click Here from 29th March- 5th April 2022.
1. Before filling the online application keep the Matric certificate and 10+2 Mark sheet ready for reference.
2. Register yourself with your details and your login details will be sent to your Email address.
3. Now, log in with your registered email address and click on Apply.
4. Fill out the application form completely with your correct details and upload your required documents in the needed format and size.
5. In the end, Submit the application fee to complete your application process.
Application Fee
The application fee for the same will be Rs 60+GST.
Admit Card or Hall Ticket
Before ten to fifteen days of the examination, your admit card is going to be updated on the official website of the authorities.
Some steps are given below which will help you in downloading your admit card.

Now, click the exam admit card.
Now, enter your registration details such as your registration ID or password.
Your admit card appears on the screen.
Now, download your admit card and take the printout of the same for the further process.
(Note: Your admit card or hall ticket is the most important document for your examination in which all required details such as your name, date of birth, photo, registration details, name of your centre, date of your examination, and reporting time of your examination are mentioned.)
INDIAN NAVY AA & SSR ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
(a) Age
Candidates should be born between 21st July 2005 to 1st Aug 2022.
(b) Educational Qualification

AA (Artificer Apprentice) | Candidates must have cleared 10+2 examination and scored 60% or more marks in Maths & Physics or at least one of these subjects: Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. |

(c) Medical Standard
Medical examination will be conducted by authorised Military doctors as per Medical Standard prescribed in current regulations applicable to sailors on entry.

INDIAN NAVY AA & SSR EXAM PATTERN
(a) Written Test
The common examination will be conducted for both posts. The questions paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English). Questions will be asked in an Objective manner and from four sections i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and General awareness.
Candidates have to complete this examination in 1 hour and would be subjected to PFT (Physical Fitness Test).
(b) Physical Fitness Test
One should qualify the following test for selection.

Note: Merit list for AA and SSR will be prepared based on performance in written examination. Subject to qualifying Physical Fitness Test:-
AA- Top 600 candidates (approx) on all India order of Merit, candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be issued a call up letter for Medical Examination at INS Chilka.
SSR- Approximately 2500 candidates will be issued a call up letter for Medical examination at INS Chilka on the basis of state-wise Merit.

INDIAN NAVY AA & SSR SALARY
During the initial training period, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month will be admissible. After the successful selection, they will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (Rs. 27,700 - Rs. 69,100/-) In addition, MSP will be paid Rs.5200 & AA will be paid Rs.3600 per month as DA under trainee and after successful completion of AICTE recognised Diploma Course Rs.6200 will be paid as DA per month.
