Here’s good news for those who are waiting for the UPPCL Assistant Accountant Examination. Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited published an official notification for the recruitment of an Assistant Accountant under Group C on 22nd October 2022, which was later re-issued on November 03, 2022, with the updated number of vacancies. Through this recruitment drive, 209 seats are going to be filled. Those who want to appear in the examination can apply from 8th November 2022 to 28th November 2022.

CHECK ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA OF UPPCL ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

Nationality:- Only, an Indian citizen can apply for this examination.

Age Limit:- Candidates must be between 21 to 40 years of age to apply for this examination. The relaxation in age is also given to the below-mentioned categories:- 

Educational Qualification:- Candidates must meet the qualifying requirements for the post of Accountant Assistant by possessing a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from any recognized university in India.

• Now click to apply and read the instructions carefully to continue the application procedure.

SELECTION PROCESS FOR UPPCL ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT 2022

Selection will be done on the basis of a written examination. Candidates must appear in a computer-based exam. To know more about CBT, candidates should read the exam pattern of CBT which is tabulated below. 

EXAM PATTERN OF UPPCL ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT 2022

• The written test will be separated into two sections, and the CBT will be MCQ-based. 
• The first section will carry 50 questions, and the second section will carry 150 questions.

Section 1

• The written test (CBT) of the first part will consist of one paper on "O" level computer knowledge of DOEACC consisting of 50 questions.
• Each question will be of 01 mark i.e. this exam will be of a maximum of 50 marks. 
• There will be an additional deduction of 1/4 mark for each wrong answer.

Section 2 

It will be mandatory to obtain at least 50% marks in the first part of the computer knowledge test, otherwise in the event the candidate concerned will not be considered eligible, the second part of his written examination (CBT) will not be evaluated.
