UPPSC ASSISTANT PROFESSOR ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

(a) NATIONALITY:   

A candidate must be either   

i) A Citizen of India or   

ii) A subject of Nepal or 

iii) A subject of Bhutan

iv) A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

(b) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

The minimum educational qualification for the Assistant professor is as mentioned below, however, candidates with higher education are also eligible.

(c) AGE:

As per the notification, the age limit is mentioned below for general category. 

OBC, SC & ST candidates will get relaxation in age as per the state government rules.
