UPSC CAPF AC RECRUITMENT 2023
On the 26th of April 2023, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) issued an official notification regarding the recruitment of Assistant Commandants (AC) for various armed forces across the country through the UPSC Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) examination 2023. This competitive examination is a gateway to a career in the Armed Police Forces and is a great opportunity for interested candidates. UPSC CAPF AC ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2023
(a) Nationality
Applicants for this post must either be Indian citizens or citizens of Nepal and Bhutan. Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply. It is important to note that individuals who are not citizens of India cannot be appointed or employed under these Rules without the written consent of the Central Government.
(b) Age Limit
To be eligible for this post, candidates must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years as of 1st August 2023. In other words, they should have been born between 2nd August 1998 and 1st August 2003. Certain special categories may be eligible for relaxation, as outlined in the table below:

(c) Educational Qualification
For this post, candidates are required to possess a Bachelor's degree from a University that has been incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India, or from other educational institutions that have been established by an Act of Parliament or declared as deemed Universities under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. Equivalent qualifications will also be accepted.

UPSC CAPF AC APPLICATION PROCESS 2023
To apply for the CAPF - ACs Recruitment 2023, candidates can submit their application online via the UPSC's official website. The application process can be completed in the following steps:
Visit the UPSC's official website and click on the "Exam Notification: CAPF AC 2022" link, located under the "What's New" tab on the home page.
You will be directed to the UPSC Online page. Select "New Registration" from the drop-down menu.
Complete the registration form with all the required details.
The application form is divided into two parts: Part I, where you will provide your personal information, and Part II, where you will be asked to pay the application fee.
Once you have completed both parts of the application form and made the payment, your application for the CAPF exam will be considered submitted.

The selection process of the examination is divided into the following 4 stages:
Written Examination

UPSC CAPF AC EXAM PATTERN 2023
(a) Written Examination
The written examination to be conducted by Union Public Service Commission will be held on 06th August, 2023 and will comprise two papers. Paper I will be held from 10 a.m. to 12.00 Noon and Paper II will be held from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Woman candidates who found 12 weeks Pregnant will be considered as temporarily unfit.
(c) Interview
Candidates who will be declared qualified in the Medical Standards Tests will be called for Interview/Personality Test to be conducted by Union Public Service Commission. Candidates who are declared medically unfit but allowed to appear before the “Review Medical Board” on their appeal by the Appellate Authority will be called for Interview/Personality Tests provisionally. The Interview/Personality Test will carry 150 Marks.
(d) Final Selection/ Merit
Final selection will be based on the merit list (based on the marks obtained in Written Exam and Interview).
