WBSSC OVERVIEW
WBSSC (West Bengal Central School Service Commission) conducts examinations for the recruitment of different Group C and Group D posts. Eligible candidates may refer to this blog for the requisite information on eligibility criteria such as educational qualifications, salary, number of posts etc.

How to apply
Candidates can go through the official website of board i.e Click Here
Fill your required details carefully.
Upload your required documents in needed size and format.
Download your application response and take a print out of the same.
Admit Card Or Hall Ticket
Before 10 or 15 days of the examination, your admit card will be updated on the official website of the authorities. Some steps are given below which will help you download your admit card.

Now, click the exam admit card.
Now, enter your registration details such as your registration ID or password.
Your admit card appears on the screen.
Now, download your admit card and take the printout of the same for the further process.
(Note: Your admit card or hall ticket is the most important document for your examination in which all required details such as your name, date of birth, photo, registration details, name of your centre, date of your examination and reporting time of your examination are mentioned.)
Application Fee
As the notification of this year is yet to be announced, application Fee of year 2018 is tabulated below:

WBSSC ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
(a) Nationality:
Candidates must be an Indian citizen to become eligible for posts advertised through this notification.
(b) Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have cleared relevant examinations of their posts with any recognised university. Candidates with higher education can also apply for the same.

A written examination is to be conducted for some Group C and Group D posts but for some other posts the Commission also conducts Interview.

WBSSC SYLLABUS
General Knowledge- Candidates must have knowledge of the environment around them and its application to the society.
Current Affairs- Candidates must have knowledge of India and other countries (Sports, History, Literature, Culture, Geography, Economic Science, Polity) along with Indian Constitution and Scientific research, etc.
General English- Candidates must have knowledge of Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms and its correct usage, etc.
Arithmetic- Candidates must have prepared the topics Simplification. Decimals, Recurring Decimals, Divisibility, Fractions,LCM, HCF, Partnership, Average, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Discount, Simple Interest, Time and Work, Time and Distance, etc.

WBSSC SALARY
Basic Salary for these posts will be between Rs. 20,000 to 40,000. Some other benefits like dearness allowance, House Rent Allowance, travel allowance will also be provided to the finally selected candidates after joining respective posts.
