AAI JR/SR ASSISTANT RECRUITMENT 2022:

On October 12, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) invited online applications from qualified candidates of the Western Region, i.e. candidates who are domicile of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Goa, for various Junior Assistant and Senior Assistant positions. Eligible candidates can apply for the positions beginning October 15, 2022, online at the official website, i.e. aai.aero. The last date to apply is November 14, 2022.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR AAI SR/JR ASSISTANT:

Age Limit

The candidate should be between 18 to 30 years as of September 30, 2022.

Educational Qualification

Post	Qualification
Senior Assistant (Official Language)	Master's degree in Hindi with English as a subject or Master's degree in English with Hindi as a subject.
Junior Assistant (Human Resources)	Graduate with a typing speed of 30/25 W.P.M. in English/Hindi
Senior Assistant (Operations)	Graduate with a valid Light Motor Vehicle licence as of September 30, 2022. A management diploma is preferred.
Senior Assistant (Electronics)	Diploma in Electronics, Telecommunications, or Radio Engineering
Senior Assistant (Finance)	Graduate, preferably B.Com, with a 3 to 6-month computer training course
Junior Assistant (Fire Services)	10+3 years of approved regular Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Fire with a minimum of 50% marks or 12th Pass (Regular Study) with a minimum of 50% marks

Note

For all the above posts, except Junior Assistant (Fire Services), candidates must have 2 years of relevant experience in the concerned discipline.

APPLICATION PROCESS FOR AAI SR/JR ASSISTANT:

The following is the process for submitting the application:

Candidates must have a valid personal email address and mobile phone number that is active throughout the recruitment process. The application sequence number, User ID, and Password, as well as all other important communications, will be sent to the same registered e-mail address.

Step-I SIGN-UP

Start by agreeing with the Terms & Conditions of the recruitment that may apply by clicking (√) in the Box & press the 'START' button.
You should fill up all the desired information i.e., Post Applied for, your name, email id, mobile number, etc. correctly.
Sign-up by filling-up Post Applied; Category; Candidate Name, Mobile Number and E-Mail ID.
After clicking SUBMIT button/ tab, you will receive Application Sequence No (User ID) & Password on your registered E-mail ID.

Now, you have to Click the "Log Out" tab (given on top right corner) and re-login for Step II.

Step-II FILLING-UP OF APPLICATION

After signed-up, you have to Re-login then click on the “Go to Application Form” icon at the top right corner, select your category and other mandatory details and complete Personal Details, Qualification Details, Upload photo/signature/relevant documents.
Pay the Application Fee through Online mode via Debit card, Credit card or Internet Banking/UPI etc. (if applicable) through PayU.
CLICK the PREVIEW Button to view the details you entered.
Please ensure that all aspects of the application and Photo/Signature are correct before the final submission.
Please note that you cannot Edit/Modify your application once you click SUBMIT Button.
Once the application is submitted, you will be automatically redirected to the PayU gateway to deposit the fee through Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI/Net Banking etc. if applicable.

Application Fees:

Candidates from the General/OBC/EWS categories must pay a fee of Rs 1000. Female/SC/ST/PWD/ExServiceman/Apprentices who have completed Apprenticeship training in AAI do not have to pay an application fee.

AAI SR/JR ASSISTANT SELECTION PROCESS:

Post	Selection Process
Senior Assistant (Official Language)	Two Stages: Computer-Based (Online) Test Certificates/ Documents verification
Junior Assistant (Human Resource)	Three Stages: Computer Based (Online) Test Certificates/ Documents verification Trade Test (Typing Test) The candidate should qualify/ pass the Typing Test.
Senior Assistant (Operations)	Two Stages: Computer Based (Online) Test (i)Certificates/ Documents verification (ii)Medical Fitness/ Physical Measurement Test (iii)Driving Test-The candidate shall secure 60 marks out of 100 in Driving Test. Note: Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria at any of the above stages will not be considered for the next stage of the selection process and will be disqualified from further consideration.
Senior Assistant (Electronics)	Three Stages: Computer Based (Online) Test Certificates/ Documents verification Ab-initio Training – 14 weeks The shortlisted candidates on behalf of the written exam for Senior Assistant (Electronics), shall undergo ab-initio training for a period of 14 weeks subject to certificates/ documents verification only. Out of this, 10 weeks course duration shall be conducted at CATC, RTC’s and other Centres. Thereafter, there will be On Job Training (OJT) for a duration of 4 weeks at the station of posting, as decided by the management. Subject to performance, the training can be discontinued thus terminating the service of the candidate as a result of non-suitability and poor performance. During the training period, candidates are entitled for stipend of Rs. 25,000/- per month, as per rule. Candidates declared successful in Training shall only be offered Appointment Order.
Senior Assistant (Finance)	Two Stages: Computer Based (Online) Test Certificates/ Documents verification;
Junior Assistant (Operations) (Fire Services)	Three Stages: Computer Based (Online) Test; (i) Certificates/ Documents verification; Candidates shortlisted for the post of Jr. Assistant (Fire Services) are required to produce valid Light Motor Vehicle Driving Licence issued at least two years before as on 30.09.2022 or Valid Medium Vehicle Driving Licence issued at least one year before as on 30.09.2022 or valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence at the time of document Verification/ Driving Test, failing which, their candidature will not be considered. Temporary/ Learning Licence will not be accepted. (ii) Medical Fitness/ Physical Measurement Test; (iii) Driving Test (To be conducted on Light Motor Vehicle. Candidate declared pass in the Driving Test shall only be allowed to appear for Physical Endurance Test. (iv)**Physical Endurance Test includes: a)100m Running, b)Rope Climbing, c)Pole Climbing, d)60m Running with human dummy, e)Full Ladder Climbing Basic Training Course (BTC) – 18 Weeks

Note:

For the positions of Sr. Assistant (Operations), Jr. Assistant (Fire Services), and Jr. Assistant (Human Resources), passing the trade test is required. All trade tests must be passed by the candidate. If a candidate fails any of the trade tests, he or she will be disqualified from further consideration. The final merit will be determined solely on the basis of marks obtained in the written test.
