APSC JUNIOR MANAGER RECRUITMENT 2023:

The Assam Public Service Commission has recently released an official notification for the recruitment of Junior Managers on April 28, 2023. Online applications are now open for eligible Indian citizens, starting from May 12 to June 11, 2023. Interested candidates can apply for the position by visiting the APSC's official website.

This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 91 vacant seats. Aspirants who wish to apply are advised to carefully read this article as it provides important information related to the examination that is essential to know before submitting their applications.

APSC ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2023:

Nationality

To be eligible for the Junior Manager position, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen, as per the definition provided in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

• The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.

Age Limit

Candidates must meet the following age criteria for the Junior Manager position:

• The minimum age should be 21 years as of January 1, 2023.

• The maximum age should not exceed 38 years as of January 1, 2023.

There are certain age relaxations applicable as per government regulations:

• SC/STP/STH candidates have a relaxation of 5 years, making the upper age limit 43 years.

• OBC/MOBC candidates have a relaxation of 3 years, making the upper age limit 41 years.

• Persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD) have a relaxation of 10 years, irrespective of their category (SC/ST/OBC/UR).

• Ex-Servicemen have a maximum age limit of 50 years for the unreserved category. There is a relaxation of 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

• Departmental candidates can apply up to the age of 45 years.

The age of the candidates will be calculated based on the Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card/Certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council. No other document will be accepted as an alternative to the mentioned documents.

Educational Qualification 

The educational qualifications required for different Junior Manager positions are as follows:

• Junior Manager (Electrical): Candidates should possess a full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

• Junior Manager (Civil): Candidates should have a full-time Diploma in Civil Engineering.

• Junior Manager (Mechanical): Candidates should hold a full-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

• Junior Manager (IT): Candidates should possess a full-time Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Technology.

It is important to note the following regarding the minimum marks required in the qualifying examination of the Diploma courses for the mentioned posts:

• For General and OBC candidates, a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination is required.

• For SC/ST candidates, a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination is required.

2. On the homepage, look for the "Online Recruitment Portal" tab.

3. Click on the tab, and a link titled "Junior Manager (Electrical) in Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL)/ Junior Manager (Mechanical) in Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL)/ Junior Manager (IT) in Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL)/ Junior Manager (Instrumentation) in Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL)" will be displayed on your screen.

4. Click on the appropriate link for the desired Junior Manager position.

5. A new screen will appear where you need to carefully fill out your credentials to register yourself.

6. After successful registration, log in using the login credentials sent to your registered email address.

7. Fill out the application form, ensuring that all required information is provided accurately.

8. Upload the necessary documents as instructed.

9. Complete the application form by paying the required application fee.

10. Finally, take a printout of the final submission for future reference.
