Candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam. As proof of residency, candidates are required to submit either a Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued in Assam for educational purposes, an Employment Exchange Registration certificate, or a Voter ID card belonging to the candidate or their parents. These documents should be submitted along with the online application form.
To apply for the Urban Technical Officer (Junior Grade-ll) position, candidates must meet certain age criteria. The minimum age requirement is 21 years, and the maximum age limit is 38 years as of January 1st, 2023.

To be eligible for the Urban Technical Officer (Junior Grade-ll) position, candidates must have a full-time Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology in Civil Engineering. The degree should be obtained from a university or institution recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Graduation in Civil Engineering is a mandatory qualification for this position, and candidates with other engineering disciplines or degrees from non-AICTE recognized institutions may not be considered eligible.
