BPSC HEAD TEACHER EXAM 2022 POSTPONED:

As per the information from an unauthentic source, the written (objective) competitive examination for appointment to the vacant posts of head teachers in primary schools under the Education Department is postponed. The Patna High Court has given the status of a draft rule, terming as ineffective the new rules that determine the appointment and other service conditions of head teachers of elementary schools in the state.

Recently, the commission has announced the examination dates. The examination was going to be organised in thirteen district headquarters of Bihar on 22nd December 2022 (12:00 noon to 02:00 p.m.) in which approx 1.19 lakh candidates were supposed to appear.

Now, there is bound to be a delay of at least five months in taking the examination due to the High Court's direction. It has been asked to take objections only in two months on the rules for the reinstatement of the head teacher. Two months later i.e. at the end of February, after the discussion on objection, a fresh set of rules will have to be made. The education department will make new rules and give them to BPSC. After this BPSC will again give time for application. Based on the new rules, at least one month's time will be given for the application.
