CHANDIGARH POLICE CONSTABLE RECRUITMENT 2023:

The Chandigarh Police has published the Chandigarh Police Constable exam notification 2023. Online applications are invited for the direct recruitment of 700 Temporary posts of Constable (Executive). Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the Chandigarh Police from 27.05.2023 to 17.06.2023 till 11:59 PM thereafter website link will be disabled.

CHANDIGARH POLICE CONSTABLE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2023:

Age Limit

Category-wise age limit is tabulated below:-

Note:- Relaxable up to the maximum age of 45 years for Ex-servicemen as on the cut-off date prescribed for the recruitment i.e. 20.05.2023.

Upto seven years relaxation for Chandigarh Horne Guard Volunteers provided they are working/on roll continuously for the last 2 years or more, as on 20.05.2023, as under:-

i) 2 years relaxation for those with a service of 2 years. 

ii) 3 years relaxation for those with a service of 3 years. 

iii) 4 years relaxation for those with a service of 4 years.

iv) 5 years relaxation for those with a service of 5 years.

v) 6 years relaxation for those with a service of 6 years.

vi) 7 years relaxation for those with a service of 7 years

Educational Qualification

Candidate must have studied 10+2 or equivalent to apply for this examination. For Ex-Servicemen, l0+2 or Certificates awarded in the Defence Services which are recognised as equivalent to 10+2. 

Driving Skills

Possession of a valid driving license to drive both, two-wheelers and four-wheel vehicles, is mandatory for male candidates of all categories as on the date of submission of the online application.

Computer Skills

Candidates should have basic knowledge of computer skills from any recognized institute in line of GOI/MHA No. 25019/01/2018-PM-ll dated 5th November 2018 and Chandigarh Administration Home Department No. 10385-HIII (l) 2018/23703 Dated 14.11.2018.

• Visit the official website of the Chandigarh Police.

• On the homepage, click on the Recruitment tab which is available at the last of the homepage. 

• After clicking on the tab, you will be redirected to the next screen where you have to click on “Recruitments of Constables”.

• Now, click on apply link and fill out the application details and upload the documents.

• To complete the application process, pay the application fee and take a printout of the same for future reference.
