Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath has fixed the priorities in the first meeting after the swearing-in ceremony with senior officers of the various government departments in which he has directed the officers of all the departments that they should expedite the process of recruitment to the vacant posts.
It is noteworthy that during the elections, issues related to unemployment and delay in recruitment had arisen a lot. In view of this, the Chief Minister directed the departments to expedite the recruitment.
He further added that the selection process will be done purely on the basis of merit while acknowledging the efforts of senior officials in improving the procedure being followed by the state government in hiring employees over the past five years.
The head of all the departments was asked to prepare action plans for the next 100 days, six months and a year which they will present before the council of ministers as per a department-wise timetable that will soon be announced.
