CPRI RECRUITMENT 2023:

Central Power Research Institute has issued the official notification for recruiting the Engineering Officer Gr.1, Scientific Assistant, Engineering Assistant, Technician Gr.1 and Assistant Gr. II. CPRI is inviting online applications for the same from interested and eligible candidates. Those interested in applying can do so through the CPRI's official website until April 14th, 2023.

Through this recruitment drive, 99 vacant seats will be filled for the same. Candidates are advised to read this article carefully, as we are providing the whole details regarding the recruitment here which is necessary to know before applying.

Educational Qualification

Engineering Officer Gr.1	First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering /Electronics & Communication Engineering / Mechanical Engineering /Civil Engineering. GATE Score: Valid GATE Score of the year 2021 or 2022 or 2023
Scientific Assistant	First Class B.Sc. in Chemistry from a recognized University with 5 years of experience in the relevant subject field
Engineering Assistant	First Class 3 year Diploma in Engineering /Technology with 5 years of experience in a relevant field such as Electrical, Civil, Mechanical.
Technician Gr. 1	ITI Trade Certificate in Electrical.
Assistant Gr. II	First Class BA/ BSc. / B.Com/ BBA / BBM/BCA degree from a recognized university and minimum Grade-B certificate in Basic Computer Course (BCC) conducted by National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) on the closing date of recruitment application.

Visit the official website of the CPRI.
On the homepage, you will get a link to “Advertisement inviting application for the posts of Engineering Officer Gr.1, Engineering Assistant, Scientific Assistant, Technician Gr.1 and Assistant Gr.II vide advertisement No. CPRI/01/2023”.
After clicking on the link, a new screen will appear where you will get an “Online portal link for application”.
By clicking the link, you will be redirected to the next screen, where you have to register yourself by entering the required details and your registration details will be sent to your registered email address.
Now, login by entering your registration details to fill out the application form.
Afterwards upload the required documents and pay the application fee for the final submission.
At the end, take a screenshot of the same for future reference.

CRPI SELECTION PROCEDURE & SALARY:

Engineering Assistant	Level - 6 Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400	The selection will be based on Computer Based Test (CBT) and job-specific practical skill test.
Technician Gr.1	Level - 2 Rs. 19,900– 63,200	The selection will be based on Computer Based Test (CBT). The candidates will also have to qualify a Trade Test.
Assistant Gr. II	Level - 4 Rs. 25,500 – 81,100	The selection will be based on Computer Based Test (CBT).
