ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CRPF CONSTABLE (TECHNICAL & TRADESMAN) 2023:

Nationality

Candidates must be Indian citizens. Because vacancies are posted by State/UT, a candidate must submit his/her domicile/PRC for that state/UT.

Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02/08/1996 and later than 01/08/2002.

Relaxation in upper age limit

The permissible upper age limit relaxations for various categories are listed below:

Educational Qualification

The educational/professional qualifications for each trade/position are as follows:

Possessing 02 years Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle recognized by National or State Council for Vocational training or any other recognized institution and one year practical experience in the field of concerned trade OR National or State apprenticeship certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle trade of three year duration from a recognized institution and one year practical experience in the field of concerned Trade
For all other Tradesmen	Minimum Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board, or university recognized by the Central or State Govt or equivalent Army qualification in case of Ex-Army Personnel.	Must be proficient and worked in respective trades.
(Pioneer Wing) CT (Mason /Plumber/ Electrician)	Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board.	(a) One year experience in respective trades like Masonary or Plumbing or Electrician. (b) Preference will be given to those having certificate of trade from recognized Industrial Training Institute.

Click on the "Apply Online" link and carefully fill out the required information such as personal information, educational qualifications, and so on.
Upload scanned copies of your photo, signature, and any other documents required.
Pay the application fee online according to your category.
After submitting the application form, print a copy of the form and the fee receipt for future reference.

For Male candidates from the general, EWS, and OBC categories: Rs 100/-.
SC/ST candidates, female (all categories) candidates, and ex-servicemen are exempt from paying fees.

SELECTION PROCESS OF CRPF CONSTABLE (TECHNICAL & TRADESMAN) 2023:

CBT, PST/PET, Trade Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination (DME/RME) will be part of the recruitment process.
Candidates who achieve the following cut-off marks in the CBT will be considered eligible for shortlisting to the next stage of the recruitment process:

CRPF CONSTABLE (TECHNICAL & TRADESMAN) EXAM PATTERN 2023:

A. Written Examination (Computer-Based Test)

The Computer Based Test will consist of one objective type paper with 100 questions carrying 100 marks, as follows:

All of the questions will be of the Objective Multiple Choice variety. The CBT will only be offered in English and Hindi.
For each incorrect answer, 0.25 points will be deducted. Candidates are advised to keep this in mind as they answer the questions.

B. Physical Standard Test (PST)

Candidates selected for the PST will be subjected to biometric verification, followed by a PET/Trade Test. The following are the physical requirements for the position of Constable (Technical/Tradesmen):

D. Trade Test

During a trade test, a candidate will be asked to perform any activity related to the trade/post for which he or she has applied. To know the parameters for each trade/post, refer to the official notification.

Note:

The trade test will be qualifying in nature and will be conducted through practical assessment. To qualify, a candidate must score 20 out of 50 on the practical Trade Test.

CRPF CONSTABLE (TECHNICAL & TRADESMAN) EXAM SYLLABUS 2023:

General Intelligence and Reasoning	Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns will be tested through questions principally of non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding etc.
General Knowledge and General Awareness	Question in this component will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Science, General Policy, Indian Constitution, Scientific Research etc. These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.
Elementary Mathematics	This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of whole numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and work etc.
English/Hindi	Candidate’s ability to understand basic English/Hindi and his/her basic comprehension would be tested.
