The Government of the national capital territory of Delhi Directorate of Education, Old Secretariat, Delhi-54 has released an official notice for the post of Post Graduate Teachers (19 Subjects) (Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali, Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Commerce, Economics, English, Geography, History, Horticulture, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science, Sociology and Psychology regarding the recruitment rules.

Educational and other qualifications required for direct recruits. | Essential Qualification: I. Master's Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University/Institution with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate or equivalent grade. 2. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized University; Or B.A.B.Ed.a3.Sc.B.Ed.; Or three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from any NCTE recognized institution. Note -1: The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the DSSSB/Competent Authority, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. Note-2: The qualification (s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the DSSSB/Competent Authority, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, if at any stage of selection, the DSSSB/Competent Authority is of the opinion that the sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.
