DRDO-ITR GRADUATE & TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE (DIPLOMA) RECRUITMENT 2022

DRDO-ITR: AT A GLANCE:

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is an agency of the Republic of India, headquartered in New Delhi, India, that is in charge of military research and development. It is administered by the Ministry of Defence of the Government of India.

The Integrated Test Range (ITR), is a premier Laboratory and missile testing facility of the DRDO, that consists of two complexes:

• Launch Complex-IV (LC-IV) on Abdul Kalam Island and 

• Launch Complex-III (LC-III) on Chandipur.

ITR, Chandipur invites applications from young and meritorious Indian nationals for the positions of Graduate & Technician (Diploma) for a one-year contract. Candidates who are currently undergoing or have previously completed apprenticeship training and holding postgraduate degrees with any organisation are ineligible to apply. 

As per the official notice, candidates are required to send the typed application along with the self-attested photocopies of the required documents on or before 17th October 2022 at the following address: “Director, Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur, Balasore, Odisha-756025”.

DRDO-ITR APPRENTICE APPLICATION PROCESS:

The below-mentioned steps are required to be followed to apply for the DRDO ITR Apprentice Recruitment 2022: 

• Applications are invited from the eligible candidates in the prescribed form available at the website www.drdo.gov.in

• The typed application along with the self-attested photocopies of documents should be sent to the ITR Chandipur on or before 17 October 2022.

• The application form except the “Signature” should not be handwritten.

• The sealed envelope containing the application form and other documents should be clearly labelled as follows:

  • “Application for Apprenticeship Training: Category ……… & Subject/Discipline…………

DRDO-ITR APPRENTICE VACANCY AND STIPEND DETAILS:

DRDO-ITR APPRENTICE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Eligibility Criteria for DRDO Chandipur Recruitment 2022 are as follows:

1. B.E/B.Tech/Diploma candidates must have registered themselves at the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme( NATS) Portal, i.e. portal.mhrdnats.gov.in. Non-registered candidates are likely to be rejected.

2. Similarly, BBA/B.Com candidates must have registered their names at the BOARD OF PRACTICAL TRAINING (EASTERN REGION) portal, i.e. portalbopter.com. 

3. Candidates who graduated with a B.E/B.Tech/Diploma/BBA/B.Com degree in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, or 2022 are eligible to apply. Candidates who passed the qualifying examination before 2018 are ineligible.

4. Candidates having postgraduate qualifications are not eligible to apply. Those candidates who have completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are only eligible to apply.

5. Degree holders with a B.E/ B. Tech/ Diploma/ BBA/ B.Com who have had training or job experience for a period of one year or more after obtaining the essential qualifications are NOT eligible to be engaged as an apprentice under the act.

DRDO-ITR APPRENTICE EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

DRDO-ITR APPRENTICE SELECTION PROCESS:

Selection will be made on the basis of a Written Test/Personal Interview or both for shortlisted candidates only.

Note:

• It is mandatory to provide percentage of mark secured of essential qualification in the application form.

• Formula (e.g CGPA X 10=Percentage) will be applied wherever percentage of mark of essential qualification is not available.

DRDO ITR Exam Date 2022 will be announced shortly on the official website of the Organisation.
