The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) will conduct the DSSSB PRT (primary teacher) exam and DSSSB TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) exam soon (expected in the month of November 2022) for the purpose of hiring eligible candidates for the post of primary teachers in Delhi's schools. For DSSSB candidates who want to work in Delhi Government Schools, this is a wonderful opportunity. The DSSSB PRT 2022 examination date has not yet been announced.
If you want to apply for the exam then you must read this article as we are providing all exam-related information here such as eligibility criteria, Exam pattern and important dates along with the application process which is required to know before applying for the exam. As the notification is not yet released by the board, we are providing detailed information based on the previous year's notification, as soon as the 2022 notification is released it will be updated here too.

Only applications submitted online will be accepted. Applications received through any other mode shall stand rejected automatically. Candidates can refer to the step-by-step application process before beginning to fill out the application to avoid any mistakes. The following is the process to fill out the DSSSB 2022 Application Form:
Candidates must register themselves online at the DSSSB OARS's official website.
Now on the home page of DSSSB click on the “Click Here for NEW REGISTRATION” tab on the right side of the home page.
For the DSSSB application process, candidates must fill out their Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Email, Contact Number, Date of Birth, Class 10th Roll Number, and 10th Passing Year after registering.
Candidates can pay the application fee either online or offline after uploading their photo and signature.
Candidates are advised to print the finished DSSSB online application form after submitting their fees
The examination fee is Rs 100/- (One Hundred only).
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, P.W.D. & Ex-serviceman category are exempted from paying the Application fee.
The candidates submitting their application online should pay the requisite fees only through SBI e-pay. Other modes of payment will not be considered, such candidate’s application will be rejected outrightly, and payment made shall stand forfeited.
Important: The fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

The selection will be made through the One Tier / Two Tier examination scheme and Skill Test wherever applicable.
Exam Pattern
The Examination questions will be bilingual (Hindi & English) except for the Language papers which would be in the language concerned only.
There is no provision for re-evaluation/re-checking of Answer Sheets/Answer Scripts in respect of the examinations conducted by DSSSB.
The DSSSB reserves the right to cancel/withdraw any question/questions from the Test.
It consists of 6 sections with 200 questions. Each question carries 1 mark making the total mark 200. The exam pattern is tabulated below for a clear view:-

General Awareness | Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s General Awareness of the environment around him/her and its application to society. The questions will be designed to test knowledge of Current Events and of such matter of everyday observation as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to History, Polity, Constitution, Sports, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, Everyday Science, Scientific Research, National/International Organizations /Institutions etc. |
General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability | The syllabus of General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability includes questions of both verbal and non-verbal types. The test may include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship, concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series etc. |
