Candidates must be between the age of 18 to 42 years. Relaxation in age is also permissible for some special categories. For detail, check the below-mentioned table:-

The HSSC TGT selection procedure is divided into the following stages:

The detailed procedure for the written examination is as follows:
The written exam is worth 95% marks and is divided into the following two parts:
Part A of the exam consists of general awareness, reasoning, math, science, English, Hindi, and the concerned or relevant subject.
Part B of the exam consists of Haryana History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture, and so on.
The question will be asked in multiple choice.
The written examination will be of 90 marks in which 80 questions will be asked.
The General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, Computer, English, Hindi and the concerned subject will be 75 % and History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture, etc. of Haryana are will be 25%.

The HSSC TGT Admit Card must be brought by the candidate to the exam centre as the candidates who fail to do so will not be allowed to enter the examination centre. The Admit Card contains vital information such as the examination centre and name, candidate’s name, candidate’s HSSC TGT Roll Number and much more.
