HPSC MINING & GEOLOGIST RECRUITMENT 2023: APPLY FROM FEB 08:

Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has issued online application forms on February 03, 2023, to recruit eligible candidates for the Mines and Geology Department, Haryana. The posts for which this recruitment drive is going to be held by the HPSC are, Assistant Mining Engineer (Group-B), Mining Officer (Group-B) and Assistant Geologist (Group-B).

Candidates can apply for these posts from February 8, 2023, through the official website of the commission. The application deadline is February 28, 2023. The recruitment drive seeks to fill a total of 18 positions in the department, the post-wise distribution of the vacancies are as follows:

Assistant Mining Engineer (Group-B) - 04 posts
Mining Officer (Group-B) - 12 posts
Assistant Geologist (Group-B) - 02 posts

HPSC POST-WISE CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY:

Post	Age Limits (as of February 28, 2023	Educational Qualification
Assistant Mining Engineer (Group-B)	21-42 years old	B.E. (Mining) or B.Tech. (Mining Engineering) from a recognised university, or an equivalent qualification as specified by the government.
Mining Officer (Group-B)	21-42 years old	B.E. (Mining) or B.Tech. (Mining Engineering) from a recognised university, or an equivalent qualification as specified by the government. OR M.Tech. (Geology) or M.Sc. (Geology) or M.Sc. (Applied Geology) or M.Tech. (Applied Geology) or equivalent qualification obtained after B.Sc. (Geology) OR Post Graduate Degree in Geology/ Applied Geology that is awarded after a five years integrated course from a recognized university or equivalent qualifications as specified by the Government.
Assistant Geologist (Group-B)	21-42 years old	M.Sc. (Geology) or M.Sc. (Applied Geology) or M.Tech. (Geology) or M.Tech. (Applied Geology) or equivalent qualification obtained after B.Sc. (Geology). or Post Graduate Degree in Geology / Applied Geology that is awarded after a five years integrated course from a recognized university or equivalent qualifications as specified by the Government at the time of recruitment;

Note:

For all of the aforementioned posts, candidates must have Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
