IBPS- REGIONAL RURAL BANK OVERVIEW:

The Institute of Banking & Personnel Selection has announced the exam dates for the IBPS RRB Officer Scale 1, 2, and 3 exams, as well as other exams, for the fiscal year 2022-23. 

The pre-exam will be held on 07.08.2022, 13.08.2022, 14.08.2022, 20.08.2022, and 21.08.2022, and the main exam will be held on 24.09.2022.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts examination of Common Recruitment Process for Recruitment Of Officers (Scale- I, II, III) and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). The official notification for the IBPS RRB Recruitment 2022 is expected to be released soon by the IBPS.

How To Apply

1. Candidates first have to click on the 0ffficial website i.e. Click Here

2. Now,  “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP- RRBs OFFICERS (Scale-I, II and III)” or “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP- RRBs- OFFICE ASSISTANT (Multipurpose)”  to fill the online application form.

3. Now, click on new registration and complete your registration with the needed information.

4. Candidates should note down the registration details which will be sent to your Email and registered number too.

5. Candidates are also advised to scan their documents(Photograph, Signature, Left thumb impression, A handwritten declaration)  before uploading them.

6. At last, candidates have to submit their application fee through net banking.

Admit Card will be available on the official website of  Click Here 10 to 15 days prior to the examination. Admit Card is the document in which your Examination Date, Examination Centre, Name, Examination Shift, and all the required details are mentioned without this you are not allowed to enter the examination hall.

3. Type in your Registration/ Roll Number along with the Password or Your Date of Birth. 

4. Enter the captcha code and click on the Login button.

5. Your admit card will appear on the screen download it and take a printout of the same for further processing.

IBPS- REGIONAL RURAL BANK ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1. Nationality

Candidates must be Indian citizens or a subject of Nepal and Bhutan. Candidates who are migrated here to be permanent citizens of India can apply for the same along with the refugees of Tibetan origins are also eligible to apply for this post.

I. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent Preference will be given to the candidates having a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy;

ii. Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRB/s*

Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager)

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having degrees in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy

Two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution. 

Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Manager)

Information Technology Officer Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Desirable: Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc.

One year (in the relevant field)

Chartered Accountant Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India

One Year as a Chartered Accountant.

Law Officer Degree from a recognised University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. 

Two years as an advocate or should have worked as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions for a period of not less than two years

Treasury Manager Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institution 

One Year (in the relevant field)

Marketing Officer MBA in Marketing from a recognized university 

One Year (in the relevant field)


Agricultural Officer Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree/ Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.

Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institutions 

Note:

Proficiency in the local language

For the posts of Officer Scale I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose), proficiency in the following local languages is required:

  • Candidates who have studied the language of the state in standard VIII or any level above standard VIII in Government recognized Boards of Education/Schools, or who have any certificate to that effect for standard VIII or any level above standard VIII, will be considered proficient in that local language.

  • If the candidate does not meet the aforementioned requirement in the local language at the time of selection, he will be given six months from the date of joining to improve his proficiency. (This period may be extended by RRB Boards within the framework of the rules, provided that the extension does not extend beyond the probation period).

Note:

There will be a penalty for incorrectly marked answers on the Objective Tests. To arrive at the corrected score, one-fourth of the marks assigned to each question for which the candidate provided an incorrect answer will be deducted as a penalty. There will be no penalty if a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate.

For Mains

Computer Knowledge: Basic knowledge of computer is required.

Financial Awareness: Financial/ Banking Awareness, Current Affairs, General Knowledge/ Static Awareness, etc.

IBPS- REGIONAL RURAL BANK POST:

The number of vacancies for 2022 is not yet announced, but in comparison to the previous year’s more than 4846 vacancies are expected this year too.

IBPS- REGIONAL RURAL BANK EXAM CENTRE:

The examination will be conducted online in venues across many centres in India which will be mentioned in your respective Admit Cards. No request for change of centre for Examination shall be entertained.

Results

  • FOR THE POST OF OFFICE ASSISTANT (MULTIPURPOSE) – MARKS OBTAINED ONLY IN THE MAIN EXAMINATION WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR FINAL MERIT LISTING.

  •  FOR THE POST OF OFFICERS SCALE I – MARKS OBTAINED ONLY IN THE MAIN EXAMINATION WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING FOR INTERVIEW AND FINAL MERIT LISTING.

  •  FOR THE POST OF OFFICERS SCALE II (GENERALIST AND SPECIALIST) AND SCALE III – MARKS OBTAINED IN THE SINGLE LEVEL EXAMINATION WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING FOR INTERVIEW AND FINAL MERIT LISTING.
