Candidates applying for the IDBI SCO recruitment must fulfill the following citizenship criteria:
(a) Citizen of India, or
(b) Subject of Nepal, or
(c) Subject of Bhutan, or
(d) Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) Person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar (formerly Burma), Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Candidates falling under categories (b), (c), (d), or (e) mentioned above must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India (GOI). In such cases, candidates may be provisionally admitted to the selection process conducted by the bank. However, the final offer of appointment will only be given after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued by the GOI or with explicit approval from the GOI if required. The bank reserves the right to make the final hiring decision and onboarding of such candidates.
