As per the latest information from employment news, IIT Kanpur invites online applications, from eligible Indian Nationals for appointment to the Junior Assistant post on regular basis (with one year probation period - which may be extended based on the assessment of performance). Age Limit

Candidates must be between 21-30 years old. 

Age shall be reckoned as on the closing date of the online application, i.e., as on 09.11.2022.

Educational Qualification

1. Essential Qualification

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with knowledge of computer applications. 

2. Desirable 

Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 50% marks and 02 years of relevant experience in handling Establishment matters/ R&D/ Legal/ Purchase and Import/Accounts/ Audit/Hospitality, etc

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES OF IIT KANPUR JUNIOR ASSISTANT:

Secretarial practices with computer applications. Diary & dispatch work of incoming and outgoing mail. To handle the estate management/ purchase/  import/ accounts & audit/ hospitality academic/ recruitment/ legal, R&D and establishment matters etc.

Pay Scale:

As per the 7th CPC, the selected candidates will get salary of Rs. 21700-69100 per month under Level – 3.

2. On the homepage, you will get a link to Apply Online. 

3. Now register yourself by filling out your credentials and after the successful registration process log in with your user id and password. On successful login, an online application form will be displayed.

4. Now fill out your application form with your credentials and press Save. 

5. Now, upload your documents and pay the required fee.

6. Save the final submission for future reference. 

The Application fee of Rs. 700/- must be paid through Net Banking or Credit/Debit card option.
