The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur has published an official notification for the recruitment of various posts on a regular basis (with one year probation period – which may be extended based on an assessment of performance. IIT Kanpur is an Institute of national importance declared under the Institutes of Technology Act, 1961, to provide for education and research in various engineering, technology, science and arts branches.

Eligible candidates can apply from 9th December 2022 to 9th January 2023. Through this recruitment drive, 131 vacant seats will be filled.

Assistant Registrar

Assistant Executive Engineer	a) Incumbent shall be responsible for maintaining/ managing/ developing/ providing technical support for campus physical infrastructure in respective discipline b) Implementation and follow-up action on the policy matters of the Institute c) Any other task(s) as may be assigned by the authorities of the Institute from time to time
Assistant Registrar [P K Kelkar Library]	(a) Supervision & monitoring of functionalities during shift duties of the P K Kelkar Library, (b) Identify and disseminate relevant information on printed and electronic information sources to library users, (c) Assist and promote learning activities and disseminate resource services to library users, (d) Implementation and follow-up action on the policy matters of the Institute, (e) Any other task that the authorities may assign from time to time.
Assistant Registrar	(a) Supervision & monitoring of the Section/ Unit concerned, (b) Implementation and follow-up action on the policy matters of the Institute and (c) Any other task(s) as may be assigned by the authorities of the Institute from time to time.
