AGNIVEER RECRUITMENT 2023-24:

Indian Army has issued an official notification for the recruitment of Agniveer Vayu Intake 2023-24 under Agnipath scheme. Online applications are invited from Indian citizens for various headquarters.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the same by visiting the official website of the Indian Army from 16 February 2023 to 15 March 2023. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR AGNIVEER INTAKE 2023:

Nationality

Only Indian citizens can apply for this. Candidates are advised to read the official notification of their Head Quarter for detailed information.

Age Limit

Candidates who are belonging from seventeen and a half years to twenty year years are eligible to appear in the Agniveer examination. Candidates born between 01 Oct 2002 to 01 April 2006 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification

Agniveer General Duty (All Arms)	Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading system, minimum of ‘D’ Grade (33%-40%) in individual subjects or grades with 33% in individual subjects and overall aggregate of ‘C2’ grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate. Note: Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License will be given preference for Driver requirements.
Agniveer Technical (All Arms)	10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject. OR 10+2 / intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English from any recognized State Edn Bd or Central Edn Bd to include NIOS and ITI course of min one year in required field with NSQF level 4 or above. Agniveer Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical (All Arms)	10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in class XII is mandatory.
Agniveer Tradesman 10th pass (All Arms)	(i) Class 10th Simple Pass. (ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored a minimum of 33% in each subject.
Agniveer Tradesman 8th pass (All Arms)	(i) Class 8th simple pass. (ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored a minimum of 33% in each subject.

Note:- Candidates who have appeared in class 10th and class 12th Board Exam and are awaiting declaration of results are also eligible to apply provided they fulfill all other QR. Such candidates, however, shall only be selected when they produce the original marksheet during the Phase II of the recruitment process.

APPLICATION PROCESS OF AGNIVEER INTAKE 2023:

Visit the official website of the Indian Army.
On the homepage you will get an Agnipath tab. Click on User Registration in the Agnipath tab.
After clicking on the link a new screen will appear where you have to read the instructions carefully and continue.
After entering the details your login credentials will be sent to your registered email address. (Candidates are required to have an active email & mobile number which will be used for further communication.)
Now, fill out the application form by logging in and upload the required documents.
To complete the application form submit the application fee and take a screenshot of the final submission.

Note:- Duplicate/Incomplete/Erroneously filled applications will be rejected

Application Fee

Examination fee of Rs 250/- per applicant is to be paid by the candidate for the online examination. The candidate, on successfully filling out the application will be directed to the SBI portal through a link on the website. At the SBI portal make payment of Rs 250/- plus Bank charges as applicable.

The payment can be made through any of these payment options available:- (i) Payment Gateway Facility through Maestro, Master Card, VISA, Rupay Cards both Credit & Debit of all major banks.

(ii) Internet banking of SBI and other banks.

(iii) UPI (Bhim)

RECRUITMENT PROCESS OF AGNIVEER INTAKE 2023:

For the Recruiting Year 2023-24, the recruitment of Agniveers will be carried out in two phases:-

(a) Phase I - Online Computer Based Written Examination (Online CEE)

Indian Army Male Agniveer Intake Physical Fitness Standards

To pass the Physical Fitness Test stage of the Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2023, aspirants must be physically fit. Below are the standards required to crack the physical fitness test stage:-

PAY, ALLOWANCES AND ALLIED BENEFITS FOR AGNIVEER INTAKE 2023:

AGNIVEER enrolled in this scheme will receive an AGNIVEER package with a yearly fixed increment. Furthermore, risk and hardship allowances (as applicable in the Indian Army), as well as dress and travel allowances, will be paid. On completion of their engagement period, AGNIVEER will be given a one-time 'Seva Nidhi' package consisting of their monthly contribution plus a matching contribution from the government, as shown below:
