The Indian Army has issued a new notification for the recruitment of Short Service Commission (NT) for Unmarried Men and Unmarried Women NCC Special Entry Scheme 52nd Course (OCT 2022), including Army Personnel Wards of Battle Casualties.

Nationality:

1.To be eligible to apply for this post a candidate must be a citizen of India

Or

2.A subject of Nepal

Or

3.A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Age Limit:

For National Cadet Corps (NCC) candidates (including wards of Battle Casualties) age as of 01 Jul 2022 should be between 19 to 25 years.

Educational Qualification:

• For NCC 'C' Certificate Holders - The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks overall (including all year’s marks). Those in their final year of study are also eligible to apply, as long as they have received a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks in the first two/three years of a three/four-year degree course, respectively. If selected for an interview, such students must obtain an overall aggregate of at least 50% in their degree course or their candidature will be CANCELLED by the Indian Army.

• Should have served in the NCC's Senior Division/Wg for at least two/three years (as applicable).

• A minimum of a 'B' grade in the NCC 'C' Certificate Exam is required. Applicants who do not have an NCC 'C' Certificate on the date of application are ineligible to apply for the course.

Note: The candidates who will appear in the Final Year/Final Semester examination which is scheduled after 01st October 2022 are not eligible to apply for this course.

Selection Process:

• Integrated Headquarters of the Ministry of Defence will shortlist the applications and allot the Selection Centre to candidates. Then the candidates have to log in to the website and select their SSB dates.

• Candidates then will be put through the two-stage of the selection procedure. Those who clear Stage- I will go to Stage- II. Those who fail in stage -I will be returned by the board on the same day. 

• The duration of the SSB interview is of five days

Application Process:

• Visit the Indian Army's official website at Click Here

• Click the 'Officer Entry Application/Login' link, then on the 'Registration' link (ignore if you are already registered).

• Fill out the online registration form after carefully reading the instructions.

• After you've registered, click 'Apply Online.' A page titled 'Officers Selection - 'Eligibility' will be displayed.

• Then, against Short Service Commission NCC Special Entry Course, click 'Apply.'

• The 'Application Form' page will appear. Read the instructions carefully and then click 'Continue' to fill your details under the various segments such as Personal information, communication details, educational details, and previous SSB details

• After completing the last segment, you will be taken to a page titled 'Summary of your information', where you can review and edit the entries you have already made.

• Click on the ‘Submit’ button only after ascertaining the correctness of all your details.

The candidates are required to take out two copies of their application having Roll Number, 30 minutes after final closure of online application on last day.
