INDIAN ARMY SSC (T) 61 & 32 COURSE 2023:

Indian Army has released an official notification to recruit eligible men and women for the Short Service Commission Technical Posts. The Indian Army will be recruiting candidates for the 61st Short Service Commission Technical Men Course (October 2023) and the 32nd Short Service Commission (Tech) Women Course (October 2023) for Tech and Non-Tech (Non-UPSC) posts for the year 2023. Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, will begin the course in October 2023.

SSC TECH 61 & SSCW TECH 32 ELIGIBILITY:

Age Limit

As of October 1, 2023, the age for SSC (Tech) - 61 Men and SSCW (Tech) - 32 Women is 20 to 27 years (Candidates born between 02 October 1996 and 01 October 2003, both days inclusive).
For widows of Defence Personnel who Died in Harness Only: SSCW (Non-Tech) [Non-UPSC] and SSCW (Tech) - A maximum of 35 years of age as of 01 October 2023.

Educational Qualification

Candidates who have completed or are in the final year of the required Engineering Degree course are eligible to apply. Candidates in their final year of the Engineering degree programme should be able to submit proof of passing by October 1, 2023, and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks of the start of training at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Educational requirements for widows of military personnel

SSCW (Non-Tech) (Non-UPSC). Graduation in any subject.
SSCW (Tech) (Tech). B.E./B.Tech in any Engineering discipline.

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE INDIAN ARMY SSC (T) RECRUITMENT 2023:

Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website by following the below-mentioned steps:

After visiting the website, click on the ‘Officer Entry Apply/Login’ link given on the homepage.
You have to register yourself first by clicking on the ‘Registration’ tab. (Registration is not required if already registered on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in).
Fill out the online registration form after reading the instructions carefully.
After getting registered, click on ‘Apply Online’ under Dashboard. A page‘Officers Selection – ‘Eligibility’will open.
Then click the ‘Apply button’ shown against Short Service Commission Technical Course. A page ‘Application Form’will open.
Read the instructions carefully and then click 'Continue' to fill in the details under the various segments.
You must 'Save & Continue' each time before proceeding to the next section. After completing the last segment, you will be taken to the page'Summary of your information,'where you can review and edit the entries you have already made.
Only after you have double-checked that all of your information is correct, click the 'Submit' button.

Note:

You must click on the ‘Submit button’ each time you open the application for editing any details. You are required to take out two copies of your application having Roll Number, 30 minutes after the final closure of the online application on the last day.
