TECHNICAL ENTRY SCHEME (TES) NOTIFICATION 2023: APPLY BY 30TH JUNE

INDIAN ARMY RECRUITMENT 2023:

TES 10+2 Notification 2023 issued by the Indian Army on its official website. Unmarried male candidates who have completed their 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (referred to as PCM) and have appeared in the JEE (Mains) 2023 examination are invited to apply for the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme 50.

To apply, interested candidates must visit the official website of the Indian Army between June 1, 2023, and June 30, 2023. It is highly recommended that applicants carefully read this article, as we have provided all the essential information regarding the examination, which is crucial to know before submitting an application.

INDIAN ARMY TES 50 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2023:

Nationality:

Candidates must fulfill the following nationality criteria:

  1. Unmarried male candidates who are citizens of India.

  2. Unmarried male candidates who are subjects of Nepal.

  3. Unmarried male candidates who are persons of Indian origin and have migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam, with the intention of permanently settling in India. However, candidates belonging to categories (ii) and (iii) above must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India. Gorkha subjects of Nepal are exempt from obtaining a certificate of eligibility. Candidates requiring a certificate of eligibility may be provisionally shortlisted, subject to obtaining the necessary certificate from the Government before the declaration of the result by SSB/joining training.

Age Limit:

Candidates must meet the following age criteria:

Minimum age: 16½ years

Maximum age: 19½ years

Note:- Candidates should not be born before 02 Jul 2004 and not after 01 Jul 2007 (both days inclusive).

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must fulfill the following educational qualification criteria:

  1. Candidates must have passed the 10+2 Examination or its equivalent.

  2. Minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics is required.

  3. The eligibility for calculating the PCM percentage from various state/central boards will be based on marks obtained in Class XII only.

  4. Candidates must have appeared in JEE (Mains) 2023.

TES 50 APPLICATION PROCESS 2023:

To apply for the Indian Army TES 50, please follow the steps below:

  1. Visit the official website of the Indian Army.

  2. On the homepage, locate and click on the "Officers Entry" tab.

  3. Look for the "Apply Online" link and click on it.

  4. You will be redirected to the registration page. Fill in your credentials and complete the registration process.

  5. After successful registration, login using the login credentials sent to your email during the registration process.

  6. Fill out the application form with the required details.

  7. Upload the necessary documents as specified.

  8. Proceed to complete the application process.

  9. There is no application fee required for this post, so you do not need to make any payment.

  10. Once you have submitted the application, it is advisable to take a printout of the final submission for future reference.

INDIAN ARMY TES 50 TRAINING:

The total duration of the training for Indian Army TES 50 is 5 years, which consists of the following components:

(a) Basic Military Training: 

The duration of basic military training is 1 year, and it is conducted at Officer Training Academy, Gaya, or any other designated Training Institute chosen by the Indian Army.

(b) Technical Training:

(i) Phase-I (Pre Commission Training): This phase has a duration of 3 years and is conducted at either CME Pune (College of Military Engineering), MCTE Mhow (Military College of Telecommunication Engineering), or MCEME Secunderabad (Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering).

(ii) Phase-II (Post Commission Training): Following the completion of Phase-I, Phase-II training lasts for 1 year and is conducted at CME Pune, MCTE Mhow, or MCEME Secunderabad.

(c) Award of Degree:

Upon successfully completing the final examination, candidates will be awarded an Engineering degree. It is important to note that no ante date seniority will be granted to candidates based on this Engineering degree. During the last two semesters, officers are allowed only one relegation on academic grounds. This relegation should be within the maximum limit of two relegations permitted on academic grounds throughout the entire Engineering degree, comprising eight semesters, following the JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University) Ordinance. Any further relegation on academic grounds beyond the permissible limit will result in the termination of the officer's commission.

INDIAN ARMY TES 50 COST OF TRAINING:

The weekly stipend for candidates during their stay at the Officers Training Academy, Gaya/Cadet Training Wing is ₹13,940/- (as per 2021 information) and is subject to revision as notified from time to time. It is important to note that the cost of training is borne by the state, and in the event of a candidate withdrawing for personal reasons, the incurred expenses will be recovered from them.

Other Allowances

Dearness Allowance

Admissible at the same rates and under the same condition as are applicable to the civilian personnel from time to time. 

Kit maintenance allce

Subsumed into the newly proposed Dress Allowance i.e ₹ 20,000/-per year

Military Service Pay (MSP):

Officers holding the rank of Lieutenant (Lt) to Brigadier (Brig) are entitled to a fixed monthly Military Service Pay (MSP) of ₹15,500/-. This amount is fixed and remains consistent.

Fixed Stipend for Cadet Training:

During their training period, gentlemen cadets will receive a fixed stipend of ₹56,100/- per month. This stipend is equivalent to what is admissible to NDA (National Defence Academy) cadets upon completion of 3 years of training. Upon completion of 4 years of training, they will be commissioned in the rank of Lieutenant (Lt) and will be entitled to the pay corresponding to that rank.

There are a total of 90 vacant seats available for Indian Army TES 50. It is important to note that these vacancies are provisional and may be subject to change based on the training capacity at the Training Academy for this particular course. The final number of vacancies can increase or decrease depending on the organizational requirements at that point in time.
