INDIAN NAVY 10+2 B.TECH CADET ENTRY 2022

INDIAN NAVY OVERVIEW:

The Indian Navy has released the Notification to join The Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, for a four year B. Tech Degree Course Under the 10 + 2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry scheme in, ‘Education Branch and Executive & Technical Branch’. Applications must be submitted online through the Indian Navy official website,  Click Here. The online application  will be submitted between the date 27 January 2022 to 08 February 2022.

INDIAN NAVY APPLICATION:

The 'Online Application Form' can be filled by the applicant in the following steps:-

         1. Visit the official website of the Corporation Click Here and click the “Recruitment” section.

         2. Now, select the post for which you want to apply for the examination.

         3. Register yourself with your valid Contact number and Email Id .Your  login details will be sent to

              your Email Id.

         4. Now, log in with your Email Id and Password and fill your required details carefully and

           click to proceed.

        5. Upload documents in the required format and size.

       6. Download your application form after the final submission and take a printout of the same.

 APPLICATION FEE

THERE WILL BE NO APPLICATION FEE.

INDIAN NAVY ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

The Eligibility criteria are decided by the board and the candidates must meet them to become eligible for the post. The details are as follows:-

AGE LIMIT

Born Between the Dates of 02 January 2003 to 1 July 2005 (Both Dates Inclusive) 

 EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Passed 10+2 Exam with 70% Marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, (PCM) in Each Subject.

Minimum  50%  Marks in English at Class 10th & Class 12th Level.

Candidates Must be enrolled and appear in JEE (MAINS) 2021 Entrance Examination.

NATIONALITY

Candidates must be Indian Citizens.

INDIAN NAVY SELECTION PROCESS:

The eligibility for this entry is JEE (MAIN) score and PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) Score. There is no Entrance Exam. 

(a) IHQ MOD (Navy) reserves the right to fix the cut off for shortlisting of applications for SSB based on JEE (MAIN) All India Common Rank List (CRL) 2021. 

All candidates are required to fill their Rank as per ‘Common Rank List (CRL)’ in the application. SSB interviews for shortlisted candidates will be scheduled at  Bangalore/Bhopal/ Kolkata/Visakhapatnam from March - April 2022.

(b) Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview on their E-mail or through SMS as provided by candidates in their application form. 

Candidates are advised not to change their contact details till the selection process is complete.

(d) Change of SSB venue for interview is not permissible under any circumstances. 

(e) No compensation will be paid in respect of any injury sustained as a result of tests during the SSB Interview. 

(f) Candidates are required to carry a photocopy of the first page of the bank passbook or cheque leaf where the name, account No. and IFSC Code details are mentioned while appearing for SSB. AC 3 tier rail fare is admissible for the SSB interview if appearing for the first time for a particular type of commission on the production of tickets. 

INDIAN NAVY MERIT LIST:

Separate merit lists for Education Branch and Executive & Technical Branch (in combined) will be prepared based on SSB marks. Those Candidates who fit in the medical standard of the examination would be appointed as per the availability of vacancies in the respective branch.

INDIAN NAVY TRAINING:

(a) Selected Candidates will be inducted as Cadets for the four years B. Tech Course in Applied Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering as per Naval requirements. On completion of the course, B. Tech Degree will be awarded by the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Distribution of cadets amongst Executive and Technical Branch (Engineering & Electrical) will be as per the extant policy. 

(b) The entire cost of training, including books and reading material, will be borne by the Indian Navy. The cadets will also be provided with entitled clothing and messing.
