INDIAN NAVY CHARGEMAN II 2023 NOTIFICATION OUT: APPLY BY 29TH MAY

INDIAN NAVY CHARGEMAN II RECRUITMENT 2023:

Indian Navy has issued an official notification regarding the recruitment of Chargeman. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates to apply ON-LINE through the Indian Navy’s official website for the post of Chargeman-II (redesignated as Chargeman). Through this recruitment drive, 372 vacant seats are going to be filled. Interested candidates can apply for the same by visiting the official website of the Indian Navy from 15th May to 29th May 2023.

Selected candidates will have to serve in the units under the administrative control of

(a) Headquarters Western Naval Command, Mumbai

(b) Headquarters Eastern Naval Command, Visakhapatnam

(d) Headquarters Andaman and Nicobar Command, Port Blair.

Indian Navy reserves the right to post candidates to any place in India depending upon organisational requirements/constraints. Candidates are advised to read the complete article carefully, before filling up the online application form.

INDIAN NAVY CHARGEMAN-II ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2023:

Nationality

(a) A candidate must be either:

(i) A citizen of India or

(ii) A subject of Nepal, or

(iii) A subject of Bhutan, or

(iv) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962 with the intension of permanently settling in India, or

(v) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda,, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intension of permanently settling in India.

(b) Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Age Limit

The age limit for the post is 18-25 years as on the crucial date. Permissible relaxation in upper age limit for different categories is as under:

Defence disabled personnel	UR- 03 years (08 years for SC/ST) subject to the condition that they would not be allowed to avail of a larger number of chances in respect of recruitment to a service, or group of services, than the maximum number of chances permissible to any general candidate under the age limit.
Persons who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of Jammu and Kashmir during the period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989	The upper age limit is relaxable by five years (subject to a maximum number of chances permissible under the relevant rules).

Educational Qualification

Degree in Science with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognized University;

(OR)

A Diploma in Engineering in the appropriate discipline from a recognized University or Board.

On the homepage, you will get a link to link to “click here to apply for Indian Navy Chargeman-II 2023”.
After clicking on the link fill out your credentials and upload the required documents.
Now pay the required ap[plication fee to complete the application process.
After completing the application process, take a screenshot of the final submission for future reference.

Application Fee

Non-refundable/Non-transferable application fee of Rs.278 (Rupees Two Hundred and Seventy-Eight only) + applicable charges if any is to be paid by the candidates.
MODE OF PAYMENT: The fee is to be paid online through credit card/net banking/UPI. All applicable services charges i.e. bank charges shall be borne by candidates only. Application fees paid by the candidates who have not completed their application or whose application is rejected will NOT be refunded. Application fee once paid shall NOT be refunded under any circumstances nor it will be adjusted against any other examination. No representation against such rejection will be entertained.
EXCEPTION FROM PAYMENT OF FEE: All women and SC/ST/PwBD/ESM candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee, as per extant Govt. of India rules.
