IP GDS RECRUITMENT 2023:

The Government of India Ministry of Communications Department of Posts has issued an official notification regarding the recruitment of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS). Online applications are invited from the eligible applicants for engagement as Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) (Branch Postmaster(BPM)/Assistant Branch Postmaster(ABPM)/Dak Sevak). Candidates can apply for the same by visiting the official website of the Indian Post from 27.01.2023 to 16.02.2023.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA OF IP GDS 2023:

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 18 to 40 years of age to apply for this post. Relaxation in age is also permissible to some special categories which are tabulated below:-

Schedule Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST)	5 Years
Other Backward Classes (OBC)	3 Years
Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)	No relaxation
Persons with Disabilities (PwD)	10 years
Persons with Disabilities (PwD) + OBC	13 years
Persons with Disabilities (PwD) + SC/ST	15 years

Educational Qualification

Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard having passed in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of GDS.
The applicant should have studied the local language (Circle’s local language) at least up to Secondary standard as compulsory or elective subjects.

IP GDS APPLICATION PROCESS 2023:

Visit the official website of the Government of India Ministry of Communications Department of Posts.
On the homepage, you will get a link to register in the candidate’s corner and select the division from where you want to apply.
Fill out your credentials carefully and upload the documents in the needed size.
Now click on the apply online tab and you will be redirected to the new screen. Enter your registration number and select the circle from where you have registered yourself.
Now pay the application fee and take a screenshot of the final submission for future use.
